soul as well as your body!

God created us to be in in relationship with him, like the fig tree in

the Gospel, with our faces and arms turned toward God. Only
with Christ are we able to bear fruit. What distracts me and causes
me to turn in on myself rather than turn toward God? Where do I
need Christ in order to bear fruit?

A Word from Our Ministry Team

UCC Financial update

Thank you to all who support our ministry

through your prayer and donations of time and
treasure. Our midyear financial report is available
online and in our bulletin today. As you can see
on the report, we have a net income of $67,402.
While this number is good it is also necessary to
offset the budgeted negative $43,000 in our third
quarter. Because of the timing of our non-recurring income our
third quarter has traditionally been our negative income quarter.
So it is important that we began our third quarter with the necessary funds to cover our projected expenses.

Overall, we are coming closer to reaching our goals of building up

our savings to cover at least three months of our expenses as well
as slowly setting money aside for future building improvements
and decreasing our building debt. Thanks to your support we have
been able to achieve all this while increasing the staffing and
ministry opportunities here at the UCC.

Join the UCC for outdoor Stations of the Cross on the UT campus,
beginning at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 4. Meet at the Littlefield
