Acknowledgment
To God, forever.
If I can trace the source of all my learning in therapy, I will say I am closely
knitted to a few souls who have become an embodiment of my work depth. I
owe this awareness to these men that God has brought my way: Lanre Olusola,
Innocent Usar, Tylor Ilori, and Akpoveta Valentine T'.
Many need to heal and we are God's instruments for this assignment.

Dedication
I dedicate this book to:

TESTIMONIALS
Coach Sam's book “The Fearless Seed; Reclaiming your life” is so frankly
written, it resonates in the soul. His words literally reach out of the page to
grab your heart.
I am a big advocate of personal development, and firmly believe that true
and authentic personal growth can only happen when one discovers the
purpose for which they were created. This book is a journey in self-mastery
or in this case “self-rediscovery”.
Sam is unapologetic about his challenge to us to embrace our real self and
reclaim our authenticity.
I had so many “Ah-Ha!” moments reading this book. I almost cried for the
many detours I had taken from my journey to self-actualization.
A must read for any one who is passionate about their personal development,
and a useful book for any parent who wants go about to raise a self assured

child without compromising their core personalities.
Whether you are on the first rung on the ladder of self-mastery or well travel
down that road it will touch your soul.
“And for anyone asking what must I do to move forward?”
Coach Sam dares you to deify the norm and break out the limiting beliefs. So
Take courage and reclaim your true self-start living for you in all the potential
you were created to be…

It's not just an interesting read and self-expository resource material, it is a
mirror! If you look through closely, you will find the missing one; you!
It was a rare privilege to have been asked to do a review, as I realised I had a
mirror in my hand. So, I used it immediately too.
Such books as Fearless Seed is a necessary tool for unlocking the "unknown"
self and discovering hidden potentials for harnessing what you have to
achieve what you need to. And no doubt, everyone has something. It is not
and no doubt, everyone has something. It is not only for the present but for
keeps. Just as Coach Sam ends each chapter's with that inspiring line; I concur
that "You are reclaiming your true life!"

Foreword
For the person who is truthful with himself, who is tired of the status quo,
has realized that there has to be more to life than what he is currently
experiencing, and is willing to break free from limitations, this book is a must
read.
Fearless Seed is a book that will provoke you to strive to be all that God has
created you to be, as the author has put together useful tools and lessons
drawn from his repertoire of knowledge and life experiences.

Seed will prompt you to pick yourself up and work towards finishing strong!
As an alumnus of the Olusola Lanre Coaching Academy, I have worked
closely with Sam Obafemi in various capacities over the years and I am
incredibly proud of him.He is very passionate and has proven to be one
who cares about helping individuals and businesses succeed.

I celebrate Sam for generously making this information available. He is
indeed a gift to the world at large.

Introduction
Fearless Seed has always been in my loins to write… I just did not know that it
would occur in this manner. A medium through which the profound depths I
know of the human mind could be shared was longed for yet with a strong
desire to simplify it for my very friends, fans and followers; for all. There is so
much that we have abandoned with respect to who we really are but this book
is a journey onto self-discovery and self-actualisation, not just for me but also
for you who is holding this work.
The burden to document my experiences with the mind dimensions
heightened when I completed my Master NLP course with InnocentMinds
in Jos, middle belt region of Nigeria. The entire course was astounding for
me because all my field experiences hitherto found great expression within
the modular courses. I began to dig deeper into greater comprehension of
how we really have become as humans.
I feel privileged to have been exposed to a higher realm of awareness of
the human psychology; more so, to be able to explain this in the most
1

basic of forms in this book so that you can be emancipated by its words.
These will give you a deeper understanding of the dimensions of the
human psychology and thus help you to live a fearless life on this earthly
journey.
God, in His infinite wisdom, designed for us to truly rule, in literal terms.
Many still believe that they lost it in Eden. I think otherwise. If the work
of Christ on Calvary is anything to go by, then it means we chose to
relinquish our authority rather than manifest our fearless seed. The
corrupted seed prior to Golgotha perished at Golgotha but only those
who accept the offer post-Golgotha can become fearless in absolute
terms. This book aims to help you come to that awareness and come to it
fully.
Welcome to my thoughts. I give to you what I have obtained in my walk in
life. May this be of in-depth service to you and may you by this work, find
your fearless life. #maktub!!!

Foolish Audacity
Ilerioluwa is my nephew. As at the time of writing this account, he is barely a
year old. He has unbelievable guts. As a young toddler, Ileri climbs virtually
everything that can be climbed. He would drag stools just to climb subtly
until you would find him on top of deep freezers or room dividers.
One day, I was just in time to catch this prodigy who attempted to 'walk
directly' from a couch to the floor. As far as he was concerned, there was no
difference between the height of the couch and the bare floor. Both terrains
were flat. I personally believe every child is born with this seemingly 'foolish'
audacity.

Voltron Sperm 1
The anatomy in our makeup suggests that at
sperm level, we emerged as winners of a
keen contest amid millions of spermatozoa.
It also suggests that as the sperm cells
fertilised the eggs, we became the 'sustainers'

of the body and womb that bore us. In fact, it is confirmed from research that
when a pregnant mother experiences any bodily damage during pregnancy,
the foetal fluid is able to repair and replenish the tender body of the mother
unto healing. This is how powerful the foetus is. We were born immensely
extraordinary yet tender.

Your Pre-Conception Version
If you draw inference from the revelation, which God shared with Jeremiah,
the prophet, you would realise that as a foetus, your original conception was a
second formation. You were already an entity prior to fetal conception. What
this means is that you existed before the intercourse that formed you
happened. This is why in neuroscience; we believe that you are first, a
spiritual being wearing an earthly garment called your body. You actually are
superior to the elements of the physical earth that you witness and see. You
are only having a human experience as a spiritual sojourner. You are not an
earthling.

7

Raw Talent
If you have been near a child that is very tender, you will notice that it is very
easy to identify the child's natural gifting. Virtually everything that can trigger
the gift reveals the spontaneity of the gift in the child. It seems that it is at
childhood that our gifts or talents are most visible. The next only time is
when the grown person returns to develop it. What this explains is that
because a child literally thinks of nothing else, it is very easy for him to
channel his infant energies into his gifting spontaneously. While we can agree
that growing up comes with increased learning and added responsibilities
which in turn distract us from pursuing this gifting with every focus, there is
an undiluted possibility that our prime assignment is the gifting. Our
authentic purpose is to mine the gift, profit from the gift and live off the gift
but life defines a different ball game; the ball
game of 'survival', 'fending', and 'living by'. “Our Authentic Purpose
Is To Mine The Gift,
The gifting then becomes secondary. The
calling becomes an alternative. We become Profit From The Gift And
Live Off The Gift. ”
blurred in our purpose.. This is the travesty
of a diminished DNA. How did we get to
8

this point?
“Kids don't bother about HOW their ideas will come to fruition. They
just think of the ideas” – Adora Svitak (Ted talk “What Adults can learn from
Kids”)

Television Antenna
Growing up, my dad used to bore me almost always with the mechanics of
our external television antenna. He would close from work and begin to fish
out tools for correcting or fixing the pole upon which the television aerial
was mounted. Frankly, those were annoying days of 'boring' work.
Nevertheless, without these efforts, there would be no watching Sesame Street,
Rent-A-Ghost, Tales By Moonlight and all

9

experiences of intuition, and premonition, you would discover they
consistently follow a pattern. What I call a two-way system of exchange.
These exchanges happen between the spirit state and the earth state.
Virtually everything you do that gives you peace of mind is something you do
based on inner convictions. It is what you have chosen to do. The inner
convictions, aside being the result of a decision making process, is also
influenced by instructions from the 'inner man'. The inner man is like an
antenna to the spirit state from the earth state. There is absolutely no decision
you arrive at without a sense of internal processing guided by your beliefs
and convictions. Your human behaviour is almost always governed by your
subconscious experience. This is your antenna; your spirit state connector.

Lofty Ambitions
If you ask any child who is less than 3 years of age (most of the older children
have succumbed to the swap, which we will discuss in chapter 2), what he or
she wants for Christmas, it is very likely that the child will mention items or
gifts that are outlandish. What we adults do is laugh off these 'crazy' demands
and even say things like “I did that too as a child; such childish
10

behaviour!” Alas, what we unwittingly ignore within our subconscious reality
is that the child is only manifesting the original DNA with which we are all
born. We are originally born to aspire for seemingly impossible ambitions
and goals. We are wired naturally to seek and target lofty dreams. By the
natural implanting of our Creator, we should pursue, have and own
EVERYTHING that exists irrespective of what it takes to get it. This is the
original code you and I are made of. That is the fetal person that you were.
The question is: “WHAT HAPPENED TO US?”

Denrele Edun and 'their type’
When my wife and I discuss people like Denrele Edun, it is usually a mix of
arguments between originality and
exuberance. In this book, I want to ask you “The question is not how
moral you have become. The
to read 'Denrele Edun' as 'originality' and question is how have you
not as 'exuberance'. Many are quick to sustained the originality of

any other negative light but that is neither
the focus of this section nor this book. I say
11

this because Denrele Edun is an archetype of what our authentic DNA could
be. He is a representation of how we should believe in ourselves; confident,
bold and unapologetic. Why do many people take exception to what he
represents? It is because our compromised DNA strongly suggests that he is
so 'vulgar', 'abusive' and, if you like, 'obtrusive'. Who else belongs to his class?
Charly Boy, the area fada? Asa? TerryG? You? The question is not how
MORAL you have become. The question is how have you sustained the
ORIGINALITY of your evolution since birth? What has happened to you?

Diehard Focus
If you study a crawling child, you will notice that the only reason you cannot
take your eyes off him is not that he cannot

original gusto, the crawling child will
12

persist with that focus. This is why a child seeing a candle flame would
naturally go in its direction until the fire scorches his or her fingers. This is
also why a baby sees his mother walk away and crawls in her direction,
irrespective of the distance required to catch up. Inherently, we are
programmed to identify a want, pursue it and DOMINATE IT. This is the
authentic person that you and I are. This is the authentic person that we lost.
What went wrong and how did it go wrong?
You are reclaiming your true life.

1. Voltron: Defender of the Universe is an animated television series in the late 90's that features a team of
space explorers that pilot a giant super Robot known as "Voltron"

13

15

My wife was pregnant with Sharon, our first daughter, in the same season
when Igwe, the highly popular song of the gospel group, Midnight Crew, was
reigning. We noticed that whenever the song came up on the home theatre,
our baby would become very active in her belly. This was not a one-off
occurrence. It was the norm. Clearly, Sharon loved the music track. When she
was eventually born, that track was her stimulant. If we wanted to get her to
be excited, that was the track to play.
The first source of your behavioural entity is where you were gestated. Upon
conception, and as you evolved in pregnancy, you were already being
informed by literally everything that transpired around your parents'
environment. The food your mother ate affected you, her speech, actions
and inactions all contributed to shape your perception of the world you were
coming into.
The beautiful perspective about the birth of a baby is that the baby will test
every perceived interpretation s/he had before s/he was born. This is why a
baby will first attempt to rebel, disobey or insist on what they prefer. This is
their authentic nature of fearlessness showing up. This is a pattern that we all
16

started with until the governing bodies around us 'coerced' us into a new
paradigm, the paradigm of their own realities.
The average child who is born is observant, curious and learning. This child
knows what he or she wants (and it is very amazing that at their tender age,
they have an idea of what is ideal). This child also compares what he wants
with what has been acquired during his or her term in pregnancy. This forms
a basis for comparison and validation. When the child is born, he begins to
see what he had always heard or felt while in gestation thereby matching
images and faces to what was hitherto a surreal experience. It is at this point
that the child starts attempting to stand his ground or yield to your stand.
This is the period when the child is being very 'foolish' (in the adult's eyes) but
absolutely bold (in its true sense). The resultant reactions to these attempts
of the child is what makes the swap happen.
An uneducated parent (Educated here does not equate schooling. It means a
self-aware parent who understands the mind dimensions of the human
person) interprets the child's attempts as precocious and unacceptable. What
such a parent does is penalise the child or force the child to act as 'we' adults
17

do. This parent, in his/her very innocent “Just Does Not Understand
passion, aims to instil family and personal

his/her idea of how it should be. After all,
the baby just does not understand life yet.
This reaction is the real aberration that makes your fearless person become
compromised and corrupted.
An aware parent will learn to always allow the authentic passion or attempts
of this child to be expressed and while at it,
the parent will redirect the behaviour of “You are not a child police.
You are a guide. You are

again. Every child is first human and also

fully entitled to his choice of behaviour.
You are not a child police. You are a guide.
You are not meant to 'shut down' the
child's preferences; you are meant to

“God Never Denies You

Implication Of Your

What this does for the child is that the child begins to acknowledge that there
is absolutely nothing wrong in aspiring to do anything but there is a process
of choosing what to aspire for. A child who experiences positive energy and
positive redirection of ambition learns to
try anything and choose how it can help “The swap is that continuing

while in gestation because at that time, active correctional interaction with
our parents had not commenced. The swap is that continuing process from
birth until adulthood (after parents left us, society took over) when we were
panel beaten into a new belief that our own aspirations were faulty and
wrong. “Only what you 'met' in life is what you should 'obey'”. You are told to
comply with the history and even when your God-planted inspirations drive
you, you submit to sages or records and counsels that 'kill' it. The swap is why
our world is dysfunctional and rebellious. This is not God's will.
A few months ago, my family was seated together in the sitting room,
watching television when I received a phone call. While I was on the line, my
voice interfered with the listening of my daughters to the program airing on
TV. After the call, my second daughter, Delight, said 'Daddy, when you were
on the line, I could not hear what the TV was saying.' I did a double-take like
“Are you for real?” My first impulse was to say, “You are not serious” or “You
are out of your mind!” I immediately replayed what my father would have
done to me at that age if I had said what my daughter had just said. But hey,
the reality is that she was correct! I was supposed to step away from the room
to attend to my call and she was correct to assert that she had been denied the
20

privilege of listening to TV. Guess what I did! Of course, I apologised. I also
explained what I should have done and promised to do just that in the event
of another call.
What this does for my girls are the following:
?
They will recognise the right to speak up when they feel denied their

privileges.
?
They will recognise the right thing to do should they find themselves

within a group of individuals whose rights they must respect.
?
They will recognise that everybody should be respected, irrespective of
age or status.
If this is the kind of mindset we grew up with, many of us would never have
reasons to be fighting low self-esteem or struggling to fit into a society that
expects you to submit your will to societal will. (I will share more on this in
chapter 4).
Our identity swap was fortified by several other factors…
?
A friend of mine went for a social event with his son and in the course of

the program, his son ran up to him and started off saying “Daddy, …” He
21

?
had hardly said anything when the father's friend howled at him. The man

said “Shut up! You talk too much and you're so rude.” My friend, in the
presence of his son, immediately interjected and said “No, my son is not
rude and does not talk too much. I am sorry”. When they were on their
way home, my friend reprimanded his son severally for ignoring his
training that “You do not interrupt me when I am discussing with other
adults. You wait until I can speak with you.” With this approach, my friend
established the right for the boy to speak at any time without any fear or
scare. Yet, he also established the responsibility of observing patience and
common sense when he needed to.
In Africa, the belief is that the society trains the child hence, you'll find out
that the environment and people that your growing child encounters have a
strong influence on how he is forced to submit his will to the 'bigger' will or
demand. The moment your child attempts to assert himself, he is called
'rebellious', 'stubborn', 'uncultured', 'child of a lazy parent', 'spoilt brat'.
These are conformities that deform our original person. We are expected to
shut down and not choose anything but what others think is correct.
22

?
My second daughter is not as spontaneous as her older sister. In fact, I had

suspicions that she was dyslexic because her rate of assimilation was slow
at first. It was not until she clocked three that she became hyperactive in
virtually everything. She speaks fast, writes firmly and understands her
school work much more than I had earlier concluded. One day, in school,
her teacher beat her silly because, as she said “Delight does not like to
speak out in class, neither does she write when she is asked to write. She
chooses to write when she wants to write”. I became concerned. When
my wife engaged the Proprietress of the school in a discussion about it,
they came to accept the reality that every child has a model of study that
needs to be understood by the teacher. It is this model that the teacher
should accelerate and help the child come to speed with in order to match
the pace of other children in the class. This was the breakthrough point. It
worked for Delight.Identity swaps happen to us when our educational
sojourn exposes us to unwitting

life. There are no bad humans. There are only
humans who are not resourceful enough to be
what they can be. In life, we get 'bullied' into conformity.

According to the VSP Model (VSP is Five Star Performance) developed by
Lanre Olusola, he posits that we become who we are now because of the
erosion that happened to our inherent DNA. This erosion is done via stained
values that are projected from home, our upbringing, our educational
exposures, our environments and our learning. These are the sources that got
us swapped. You can undo this swap fully if you want to.

Epilogue
With this book, I wore my prophetic garb and blew the shofar through every
word written down. I could feel it, all through as I wrote, that this parcel of
words is not meant for the fainthearted. Rather, the fainthearted need them
to fulfil calling. Fearless Seed is for you to manifest your God- given destiny.
I reckon that the Holy Spirit inspired all that is written here so I charge you to
pay attention to what has been written literally. There is a reward in being
bold and pursuing your dreams with absolute certainty.
For every conviction that you secure through this work, may it propel you to
global heights, in Jesus name. Amen.
