1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Chocolate Chip – 11” x 4 ¼”scored at 5 ½” Whisper White – 1” x 2”, 2” x 3” Brilliant Blue – 2 ½” x 2 ¾” Rose Red – 3” x 3” Tall Tales DSP – 2 ¼” x 4 ¼” Old Olive 5/8” Grosgrain Ribbon – one 12” piece
1. Cut all cardstock and ribbon according to the above dimensions and fold your card base in half, running your bone folder along the edge to make a crisp crease. 2. Using your Big Shot on Tab 1 make a sandwich with a cutting plate the plate from Kit #4 that looks like wood grain with the wood grain side up, place half of the card base on your plate (the half you would like to be the front of your card), then place your silicone rubber and Impressions Pad and run through your Big Shot. 3. Repeat the above procedure with the large polka dot pattern in the Backgrounds I and the Rose Red cardstock. 4. Punch a 1 ¾” circle from the Rose Red cardstock. 5. Use your crop-a-dile to punch out notches (half circles) from all edges of your Brilliant Blue Cardstock.
6. Apply Snail to the back of your Tall Tales DSP and apply to card base. 7. Wrap the ribbon around the card base and tie a knot positioned as in the picture above. You can put a little snail on the back side of the ribbon to keep it in place. Trim the ends of your ribbon. 8. Color the Bug & Kisses stamp with your Rose Red marker and stamp it on your 1” x 2” Whisper White cardstock keeping the image towards the left side of the paper. Trim at an angle as shown above. 9. Apply Snail to the front right side and adhere behind your Rose Red Circle then apply snail to the back of your circle and adhere to your Brilliant Blue cardstock. 10. Color your dragonfly image with your markers using Brilliant Blue on the top wings, Old Olive on the bottom wings, Rose Red for the Antennae and So Saffron on the body. When you are finished coloring, use your breathe to Huff on the stamp and moisten the ink and stamp on your 2” x 3” piece of Whisper White. Cut out your image. 11. Apply a small amount of adhesive on the back of the head of the dragonfly and stick it to the Rose Red Circle. 12. Using the piercing tool poke holes with the eyes are, making sure to go through all 3 layers and insert Old Olive brads so that they hold all 3 layers together. 13. Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of your Brilliant Blue cardstock and adhere to card. 14. Use your mat pack and piercing tool to poke holes on your card base along the bottom edge of the Brilliant Blue cardstock. 15. Voila, you’re done!!!
