BOY'S WILDCAT GOLFERS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS
Congratulations to the Wildcat boy’s golf team who won District on Tuesday. The
WILDCATS were led in the 2-day District 12-4A Tournament by Sophomore
Johnny Cochran who shot a 91- 91 to claim 2nd place individual medalist honors
in the district. The Wildcats team beat arch rival Hillcrest team by a total of 71
strokes----761to 832, and Bryan Adams came in a distant 3rd.

Completing The Fav Five (as former Coach Gindratt calls them) are Seniors
Ryder Billings, Nick Muston, Kevin Berry and Jack Wamre. Johnny Cochran, Ryder Billings, and Nick
Muston qualified for the May 3rd DISD City Championships. Alternate to the Fav Five, Sophomore Clint Joaquim
shot an excellent 93 on day 1 of District and will also accompany the team to Regionals. The Wildcats advance to
play in the UIL 4A Region II Tournament at Robson Ranch in Denton on April 21 and 22.

Coach Crabb would like to note that each of the Fav Five have leads in the Woodrow Musical, and accomplished this
GREAT district win by getting up extra early both Monday and Tuesday after late night musical practices. This shows
great WILDCAT SPIRIT! Good Luck at Regionals!
