celebrated it’s 2 nd
th
anniversary on 5 February
2010. As usual the centre
opened at 6.55 a.m. for the
morning Kakad Arti. Sai
devotees and Tikoo family
offered rose water & milk for
the morning abhisek. After
abhisek Baba wore beautiful
wardhan (Cloths) offered by
Sai devotee Shri Neeraj
Kumar and others from India.
After Kakad Arti
refreshments were served.
Havan was performed by Mr.
Tikoo & Pandit Shreedhar
Pant within the Sri
V a d a p a t h i r a
KaliamanTemple. After
Havan Madhyan Arti was
conducted and all devotees
participated in singing the
noon arti with great devotion.
Lunch was served after the
arti. At 01.00pm the local
devotees Sriranga
Deshpandey, Ms. Suchi
Sriranga Deshpandey,
Dwarka Malekar, Murlidhar
Nakka & Sahil presented
bhajans. While they were
singing bhajans, the centre
priest with the help of the
devotees beautifully
decorated the hall with fresh
flowers. The temple was
looking very attractive. Baba
wore a turban decorated with
pearls and gems, which
made Him look like king of
kings. Everyone present was
amazed with Baba’s
appearance and felt blessed.
At 06.30pm Dhoop Arti was
conducted. Bhajan singers
Mr Manoj Misra and his team
Mr. Brijesh and Mr. Deepak
were invited from Delhi for
recitation of bhajans. They
presented very soulful
bhajans. Ms. Malika Girish
presented a solo
Bharatnatyam dance with
great devotion dedicated her
every action towards Baba.
It was indeed a beautiful
piece of art performance,
which everyone enjoyed.
After the dance Manoj Misra
continued with the bhajans,

his bhajans. The centre was
fully packed with devotees.
On the request of the
devotees present there, the
Sai Baba
Temple in
Shej Arti was extended by 30

Take A Step towards Sai Baba And See The Change
For last 2 years I am
staying in Singapore with my
husband and child. I used to
come to Singapore as
tourist quiet often, as my
husband is here. I too am
employed with the Govt. of
India as a Gazetted Officer.
In 2008 when I came here it
was initially very difficult for
me to adjust. l was so happy
when I came to know that
there is a Sai Baba temple
in Singapore. I almost
started going there every
Thursday & Saturday,
whenever possible. I was so
happy by doing so. Also, on
different occasions, I took
my friends to the temple,
and today I am happy that
today they all adore Sai
Baba and are His devotees.
Any how I want to share
this information that I was
never a Sai Baba’s devotee.
I remember when I was in
college and one of my
neighbour used to come to
my mother to take her to Sai
temple, Lodhi Road, New
Delhi. I always revolted for
going there. But somehow I
still used to listen from my
friends the miracles of Sai
Baba. Like this years
passed and I completed my
professional degree course.
I met my husband (1995)
when I was working at senior
post in a Pvt. Company. We
got married with lot of
difficulties. After marriage
(1999) also we had many
financial problems, also we
had no support from our
parents. During this phase
only I came to know that my
husband and his family is a
Sai devotee. His niece’s life
was saved by one of Baba’s
miracle. He used to say that
one day we will go to Shirdi
Sai Temple, but somehow it
never materialized. It was
the year 2002 and our life
was still going through a
tough time. In 2001 we had
our daughter Prajakta (who
is a Sai devotee from her
childhood). Sometimes I
used to think whether by
marrying of my own choice,
did I do something wrong, as
our financial suffering
became worse. I wanted a
house of my own. I was fed
up of changing locations.
One day a person named Mr.
Gopal Krishnan, came to our
house for giving
Deepavali
greetings in
2002. Somehow
he saw one
photograph of Sai
Baba on our wall.
He was a great
devotee of Sai
Baba. He told us
so many
miracles of Baba,
which I hardly
believed. I used to think
whether this can happen or
these are all cooked up
stories. He motivated us to go
to Shirdi and also made all the
arrangements of boarding
and lodging himself. He said
that once you go to Shirdi all
your problems will start
vanishing, because Baba
never sends back any of his
devotees empty handed. And
he also said that your life will
not remain the same after
coming from there, you will
definitely see some changes.
I was ready to go Shirdi only
to test his wordings. My trip
was full of complications and
difficulties and at one time it
was about to be cancelled.
Somehow, we went to Shirdi
in mid of October 2002. And
can you believe that my
husband presented a house
to me as my birthday gift in
November 2002. In today’s
world where people don’t lend
money to their own blood
relations, we got financial
support from our friends viz.
Sandeep and Nidhi. They
came as a media of Sai and
helped us at the right time.
From that day my faith
developed in Baba and I
always go at least once a
year to Shirdi. Today because
of Baba’s blessings we have
more than what we
expected. Also, we never had
to turn back and think about
our bad times.
In another incident in the
year November 2007, we
came to Singapore on a
Relocation programme, as
my husband was
transferred here. He wanted
me to settle down here with
him by
resigning from
the Govt. job. It
was very
difficult for me
to come here
immediately
and settle down
as my
daughter’s
studies were in
mid term and
being a Govt.
employee, my major
problem was getting NOC
from the Govt. One of my
boss was not ready to spare
me. She always used to
reject my application. When
I came here in 2007, in the
relocation team, there was
a lady named Ms. Sharm (a
Singaporean) whose duty
was to show us all the
schools and places in
Singapore. In the end of the
first day trip she found me
worried. She asked the
reason and I said the same
about my child and job. Next
day, I was surprised when
early morning she gave me
Shri Sai Satcharitra along
with a book size photograph
of Sai Baba. She asked me
to finish the book in 7 days
and get rid of the problems.
Although, I myself had
purchased one in 2002, but
I never read or forgot to
read. I went back to Delhi,
but till end of January I
couldn’t read it and neither
my problem was solved. I
tried my best in Feb. 2008
and finished it within 7 days.
By March 2008, I got the
NOC from my office and also
Prajakta got two years break
from her school, i.e. for me
without resigning and
without striking off my
daughter’s name from her
school. Till date I am on paid
leave as well as my daughter
is simultaneously enrolled in
New Delhi - March 2010
her school in Delhi. Today
my friends feel jealous of me
as they think I am over
blessed child of Baba. They
always say that if Seema will
ask anything she will get.
Today I also feel that Baba
is with me always. He sees
my patience and will
definitely come to help me in
the end. We still worship
other Gods but we have
taken Baba as a Guru, who
guides us in every problem.
As a human being I can
never expect that I will have
no problems, but I am now
confident that Baba is there
to guide in my good and bad
times. Now I have
experienced all the 11

fasting for one year
continuously (i.e taking food
one time and reading Vrat
Sai Solved My Problem
My husband Prakash was
working in Bangalore. His
boss was mentally
harassing him.
So he was trying
for other job and
attended interview
at Credit Swiss
Company, Pune.
But there was no
positive response
for 15 days.
When he was in
the office he just
remembered Sai
Baba and requested Baba
that his interview should be
successful. Within a minute
he got a call for telephonic
interview from Singapore
consultants that whether he
would be interested for
Credit Swiss Company at
Singapore. He agreed and
there were around 8 rounds
of telephonic interviews and
with the grace of Baba he
was selected. Within two
months he joined in this
company in Singapore.
Before coming to Singapore
we planned to visit Shirdi.
But there was time shortage
and railway ticket was not

positive, caring towards
other people. The more I
read the more I was closer
to Baba. I feel if a person can

February 2010, my 11th
wedding anniversary, I
finished my one year and
also I would like to share with
everyone that what I asked

towards Baba and feel the
change in your life.

week, which gives me
mental peace. I do Sai

whenever I am worried or if I
have any doubt. Whenever I
