Dr. Dominic Foo is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. Prior to this position, he
served as a Research Associate at Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (CEPP,
UTM). His specialises in material reuse and recycle using process integration through pinch analysis
techniques; process synthesis and design involving chemical, environmental and biochemical processes. He
establishes international collaboration with researchers from United State, Greece, the Philippines and
Egypt, and served as a Visiting Scholar in the research group of Prof Mahmoud M. El-Halwagi in Texas A&M
University in Texas (USA) from November 2003 to January 2004. Dominic Foo is an author of more than
seventy scientific papers and actively involve in conducting professional training courses for practising
engineers.
