Gift to the World Collection Box

What did you do this week to help others? Don’t

forget to drop a short note just saying the kindness you showed to other persons and drop it in the “Gift to the World” collection box on the head table. Certainly, one “gift” this week was when Frank May drove out Monday evening to Oakland Airport to pick up Lou & Debbie Roessler who were returning from a visit to Hawaii. That’s Rotary Service and Friendship.

THE LAST WORD

Mujibar

was

trying to get

a

job

in India.

The

Personnel

Manager

said,

“Mujibar,

you

have

passed

all

the

tests

except

one.

Unless

you

can

pass

this

last

test,

you

cannot

qualify

to

work

for

our

company.”

Mujibar

replied,

I

am

ready,

Mister

Manager.”

The

manager

said,

“Make

a

sentence using the words, Yellow, Pink and

Green.”

Mujibar thought for a few moments

and said,

“Mr. Manager, I am ready.”

“Then

please

go

ahead

and

give

me

your

sentence,”

Mujibar

said:

“The

telephone

goes,

green,

green,

green;

and

I

pink

it

up,

and

say,

yellow, this is Mujibar.”

Mujibar

now

works for a call center

in India.

As

a

matter

of

fact,

I

talked

to

him

last

week when I had a small computer problem.
