1. Teacher shows a dialogue and asks students to read it out loud together. Half of the class represents µMarc¶ and half of the class represents µJoanne¶. Then, teacher asks several questions about the dialogue content which is related to the topic. a) What was the conversation about? b) What was Joanne and Marc¶s ambition? c) What do you think Joanne want to be in the future?
Students read the dialogue out loud.
Students answer the teachers questions based on the dialogue they have read.
2. Teacher opens a class discussion about individual hopes, dreams and ambition. Choose 2 students and teacher guides the students while they share their points of views. Then, the teacher shows two slide pictures. And ask students point of view on how to achieve successful ambition. At the same time, teacher injects moral values to achieve successful ambition. 1) Time is very precious. 2) One's strong will, powered by discipline, keeps the temptation away. 3) Wealth: Earn by intellectuality, maintain for responsibility and spend with morality.
