Easter Study

Journal
from A Lively Hope
This journal is a selection of readings from the KJV New Testament about the last week of Christ’s
life on earth; beginning with Palm Sunday and ending with His resurrection. The journal is designed to help your family learn about Christ and incorporate His love and teachings into your
Easter celebrations.

How to use this journal:
Print a copy of the journal for each member of the family. Or share one copy and include
thoughts, drawings and insights from all of your family members in one keepsake.
Print one copy of the Easter Egg coloring page (found on the last page of the journal) for
each person.
Read the suggested verses each day of the week leading up to Easter (of course, you could read
these all in one sitting, too! Or split them up however works best for your family) and use the
discussion questions as a jumping-off point for a family discussion about the verses.
While reading and discussing the stories, color the Easter Eggs.
Hang the eggs on a garland, or the fridge, or a window, etc. Any prominent place will do!
The eggs will serve as a reminder of the beautiful miracle of Christ’s Atonement and
Resurrection; the miraculous reason we celebrate Easter.
This journal is for personal use only and may not be sold or shared.
