Annual Yoga Class

Namaste

What to bring

Namaste asks that everyone bring a yoga mat for the class. If
you do not have a yoga mat you may bring a beach
towel or a small blanket instead. It is necessary to
have some sort support beneath you to help
maintain balance as well make your experience
more comfortable. The yoga instructor also advises each person to bring his or her own water
bottle to stay hydrated. It will be warm outside
which will result in sweating out all of your fluids from the physical activity. Read below for tips
on hydration for yoga.

How to Drink Water Effectively
1. Before: Drink water in the time leading up before the yoga
class so your body has time to absorb the water and properly
hydrate your body.
2. During: the yoga class, drink every so often to keep your
body hydrated. You will be sweating out your fluids so it is essential to keep water flowing through the body.
3. After: When class is over your body needs to be replenished
of all the fluids you lost. Make sure to continuously drink water
