1 Executive summary
1.1 Project Description
Construction of a mall comprising restaurants and coffee shops located in plot No. 294, Abu
Fatira, Mubarak El Kabir, Kuwait. The Facility will contain about twenty six luxury restaurants
and coffee shops overlooking to nice landscape including green areas and fountains.
The building is a reinforced concrete structures with loads transferred to a raft foundation. Access
to first floor is given access from four staircases and two elevators for the passengers, Moreover;
the access for basement for passenger is given from four staircases and two elevators (two
staircases and elevators are connected to first floor), the vehicles will access for basements is
given from a two ramps connecting from ground. Basement witchs FFL is at +3.20 m is designed
to accommodate HT room, Transformer room, LT room, store room, female locker and toilet
area, female prayer room, male ablution and toilet area, male prayer room, 3 staff rooms,
telecommunication room, security room, water tank, thirteen restaurant storage room and one
hundred seventeen car parking .
Ground floor consists of thirteen luxury restaurants and it also consists of seventy four car
parking. The FFL of Ground floor varies from +6.20 m at car parking to +7.80 m at landscape.
First floor is dedicated for others 13 other restaurants and coffee shops. Each restaurant has
behind it an outdoor terrace. The FFL for first floor is +13.00 m. Roof floor or the lower roof
accommodates the two elevator machine rooms and generator room.
The Building is fully equipped with mechanical systems including plumbing, HVAC and fire
protection. Electrical system comprise of services and distribution, lighting and power, earthen
system, lighting protection, a generator and telephone system.

1.2.4 Duration of the Project: 540 days, starting from 1st June, 2014, and Completion Date is 22th November, 2015.
