“Celebrating America’s Birthday Since 1911”

“This year, we're providing a spectacular Village Block Party, where all
you do is show up, for the food, beer, wine and music, and cozy seating for
you and your family and friends. That's happening on Friday, July 2nd at 5-
10pm. A free Ice Cream Social follows that on Saturday, July 3rd from 3:30
p.m. to 5pm. We hope that at the end of Sunday, after a fantastic parade,
you feel you have experienced the best of Lake Bluff,” said Deb Dintruff,
president of the Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade Committee. “We, as a
committee, are humbled and inspired by your generous support that makes
it possible to provide this to our community.”

While the 100th Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade weekend will feature one-of-
a-kind events for the family, it will honor tradition and the past as well.
Community favorites like the Fireman’s Ball and the Family Fair will
remain the definitive events they have been for years. The Lake Bluff 4th of
July Parade Committee has partnered with local businesses and civic
organizations to present a comprehensive weekend of events in honor of
Independence Day in the Village.

“If there was ever a year to celebrate the Village and our Independence
Day, its for the 100th Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade,” Dintruff continued.
“Bring the whole family uptown on Friday, July 2nd and kick-off a weekend
of fun and celebration in honor of ‘100 Parades’ in 2010.”

The Parade is sponsored and organized by the Lake Bluff 4th of July
Committee with logistical, and other support from American Legion Post
510. The Committee is a registered 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization of
community volunteers.

If you want to march in or volunteer during the parade, or want more
