Gather all available information about the object or phenomenon to be studied. Using the five senses, sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. A conclusion from an observation or phenomena using information that already exist. Variables are factors or physical quantities which change in the course of a scientific investigation. There are three variables : i. Manipulated variables - physical quantity which change according to the aim of the experiment. ii. Responding variables - physical quantity which is the result by manipulated variable.
