Almond Cheddar

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup slivered almonds, chopped
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 loaf (1 pound) French bread

Directions

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce; stir in cheese, onion,
almonds and bacon.
Cut bread into 1/2-in. slices; spread with cheese mixture. Cut slices in half; place on
a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: about 4
dozen.
Editor's Note: Unbaked appetizers may be frozen. Place in a single layer on a baking
sheet; freeze for 1 hour. Remove from the baking sheet and store in an airtight container
for up to 2 months. When ready to use, place unthawed appetizers on a greased baking
sheet. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes or until bubbly.

Appetizer soup

Vegetable Broth/Vegetable Clear Soup

Ingredients:

Chopped onion 3 cups

Celery sticks - 4

Diced carrots 3 cups

Bell peppers - 2

Tomatoes 4 (I used roma tomatoes)

Garlic 3 cloves

Cloves 3 count

Bay leaf 1

Black whole pepper 6 to 7

Fresh Parsley a bunch

Water 2 litre

Method of Preparation:
1. Chop the vegetabled into small cubes.
2. In a deep bottomed pan, add a tsp of olive oil or any oil and add onions.
3. Toss them for 3 minutes and add carrots, tomatoes and bell peppers.
4. Let them cook for 5 minutes. Toss them in between.
5. In a large vessel add 2 litre of water and allow it boil and add the tossed vegetables along
with the other ingredients.
6. Let them boil till they become half the quantity.
7. Now pour the broth through a colander into a large container.
8. The filtered liquid is your broth.
9. You can use it for making any soups or store it in the refrigerator in an air tight container
for future use.
10. You can use up to 2- 3 weeks.
11. Dont waste the filtered vegetables. You can eat it just like that or toss it with some oil,
green chillies and salt and have it as a side.
12. I had it as a veggie clear soup with all the vegetables and some salt and pepper.
13. It was very nice and tasty.

Aspic jelly

Aspic Jelly

Bahan-bahan:
1. putih telur ................................ 2 butir
2. daging sapi cincang .................. 3/4 kg
3. garam ...................................... 10 gram
4. bawang bombay ...................... 75 gram
5. wortel ...................................... 75 cc
6. daun bawang ........................... 50 gram
7. seledri ...................................... 1 bh
8. bay leaf .................................... 1 bh
9. lada utuh .................................. 5 butir
10. gelatine .................................. 125 gram
11. white stock ............................ 3 liter
Cara Membuat
1. campurkan daging cincang, putih telur, garam dan 250 cc air dingin, lalu aduk hingga
rata.
2. cairkan gelatin dengan 250 c air, dan masukkan ke dalam stock, lalu aduk hingga rata.
3. masukkan campuran daging ke dalam stock, aduk hingga rata.
4. rebus dengan cepat, simmer selama 2 jam, kemudian di saring.
5. hilangkan lemak, dan perbaiki rasa dengan menambahkan garam.
6. masukkan ke dalam cetakan (sebelumnya di beri garnish).
7. dinginkan dalam refrigerator.

Main course

Marinated Grilled Steak with Prosciutto


wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
4-Choice Cut of Steak, we used bone-in ribeye and fillet
Steak
Meat
Salt
Pepper
Yellow mustard
cup Red Wine, recommend: Cabernet or Merlot
1 Asparagus bunch
lb Prosciutto (use ham if unable to find)

Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp Red Pepper Flake

Directions
Preheat Oven: 425 degrees

Steak:
Evenly distribute the steak rub, meat tenderizer, salt, pepper, yellow mustard and wine on the top
of each cut of meat, keeping in mind you will flip the meat and do the other side. *Prior to
pouring the wine over top of meat poke holes in the meat with a fork so the wine goes into the
holes. Let marinade at room temperature for 20-60 minutes.

Place marinated meat on the grill and cook to desired doneness. (For a medium rare on a 2 inch
cut is 4 minutes on one side on a high and 10 minutes on the other, lowering the heat to a medium
on the 2nd side.) Remember to allow for the meat to rest for 5 minutes before cutting.

Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus:


Wrap a slice of prosciutto around one asparagus spear and repeat the process until all spears are
wrapped. Place asparagus on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, easy clean-up. Top all the
spears with olive oil, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Place in a preheated 425 degree oven for
10-12 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!

Chocolate Pudding with Fruit Cocktail

Bahan:
1,5 bungkus agar-agar warna cokelat
500 ml air
50 gr gula pasir
300 ml susu kental manis cokelat
3 sdm cokelat bubuk, larutkan dengan 100 ml air
150 gr whipped cream kocok
1 kaleng fruit cocktail
8 buah jeruk mandarin kalengan
8 tangkai daun mint, untuk hiasan.
Cara membuat:
1. Campurkan agar-agar, air, dan gula pasir, aduk rata.
2. Tuang susu kental manis dan larutkan cokelat bubuk, aduk rata.
3. Masak dengan api kecil sambil terus diaduk hingga mendidih.
4. Masukkan whipped cream kocok, aduk hingga rata. Angkat.
5. Tuang dalam gelas saji, diamkan hingga dingin dan beku.
6. Masukkan dalam lemari pendingin hingga dingin benar-benar beku.

7. Tambahkan di atasnya dengan fruit cocktail dan jeruk mandarin. Hias dengan daun mint, sajikan.
