This course is a 2 year Post Graduate program from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning
in collaboration with CIMA. CIMA is the globally recognised membership body with over

of management accountants.
How does this programme differ from any other MBA?

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with dual

specialisation in Finance and Management Accounting as well as acquire the

Who is eligible for this course?

Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university

CIMA students are eligible for this course; however you must also fulfil the above
criteria. No exemptions from the course will be considered on the basis of completed
CIMA papers

What is the selection process?

No selection process, its a direct entry. There is no entrance test, if you fulfil the
eligibility criteria you will be able to join the program directly.

What is the last date to apply?

Last date for issuing prospectus and receiving the completed application form is 31st

What are the Fees from the programme?

The program fee shall have two components one payable to SCDL and other payable to
CIMA.
a) SCDL Program Fees: The program fee for each student shall be Rs.56, 000/- (Rs. Fifty
Six Thousand only). All Fees should be paid in the form of demand draft drawn in favor of

How is the course taught?

The course is taught via distance learning. All students will be supplied with the relevant
learning material which includes books for all Semester from SCDL. For 4th Semester you
will also get online learning material called CIMAstudy.com in addition to SCDL books.
I live outside of India or I may move abroad during the course, can I take this course?
Yes, but please check if there is an SCDL and CIMA exam centres in your country.
Once I complete the joint programme, can I continue to be a CIMA student?
Yes. On passing the CIMA Masters Gateway exam you will be awarded the CIMA
Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. This also means you have only to
complete 4 more CIMA papers to be eligible to apply for CIMA Membership.
