HANDLING DANGEROUS
GOODS IN THE SUPPLY
CHAIN – AN INTRODUCTION

COURSE OVERVIEW

www.thesupplychainexpress.blogspot.com

This course does not identify a student as a dangerous goods
specialist as that requires intensive training including passing of
written examination.

3/13/2010

This course is designed to introduce industry professionals and
students to the basics of handling dangerous goods in the supply
chain. At the end of the course a student should be able to identify
the different classes of Hazardous Material, EAC & HIN codes for
basic identification of fire-fighting and spill control measures,
packing groups, basic DOT requirements for transport, and
understanding MSDS (Europe).
