Since  1990,  Child  Care  Aware  of  Kansas  
has  worked  to  ensure  families  have  
access  to  affordable,  high-­‐quality  child  
care.  We  improve  child  care  quality  and  
advocate  for  changes  that  impact  the  
lives  of  children  and  families.    
Through  six  regional,  independent  Child  
Care  Resource  and  Referral  (CCR&R)  
agencies,  our  network  provides  services  
to  every  county  in  Kansas.    These  
services  include:    
§ Helping  families  find  child  care  
§ Supporting  child  care  providers  to  
improve  quality  
§ Providing  consumer  education  about  
quality  child  care    
§ Collecting  data  about  child  
care  trends
