EFL and ESL?. The main differences between EFL and ESL are the students and the location where English is being taught to speakers of other languages. For the English teacher, those may require different lesson plans, different approaches and different topics. An English language learner studying ESL may have more immediate English needs. The student may not need to worry about grammar right away, but may need to learn basic survival skills as quickly as possible. A student studying EFL may not be as concerned about learning English as quickly as possible because he or she is probably living in a country where he or she speaks the primary language of the country and is able to take care of the necessities of daily life. It is expected of "e-teachers" today to be knowledgeable in computer applications which relate to teaching. Therefore, often have to work together with staff from Information Technology Divisions to lead in the educational field, making e-mail classrooms work successfully. It is expected of them to elicit learning and stimulate progressive skills development which flow from the basic to more complex notions while retaining clarity of understanding throughout your life. The use of information communication technology in ESL and EFL classroom are one of the biggest problems here is that newcomers to the Internet and even more experienced hands do not know how to react in some situations. This is why a high priority should be placed on the clarification of goals as they inform future action as well as reaction. Working out objectives and assessment techniques to complement the overall course objectives require careful planning to ensure that the course remains meaningful and stimulating. Learning facilitators are also expected to establish and maintain professional contact with other "teachers" in their specific disciplines to ensure a continuous flow of information, especially with regard to useful sites to further academic activity ad collaboration. Web-based writing instruction has proved to be an important factor in enhancing the writing quality of low-ability English as a foreign language (EFL) students, the effectiveness of Web-based instruction in the writing as a supplement to traditional in class writing instruction was significantly more effective than teaching which depended on the textbook alone. performance and increasing access to learning by the advantaged. First, raising motivation is a key factor in encouraging disenchanted and under-confident learners, whether out-of-school youth or adults, to reengage in structured learning. Another benefit to learning through technology, especially online courses, is the fact that you can learn no matter where you are, this is not possible if you enroll in a traditional English class, as you will be required to be present at your scheduled class time. Although Power Point presentations are new and you've been using them for a long time, there are ways to make them work better in your faculty presentations, using Power Point has been an integral part of presentations for enough years now that experts have been able to accurately assess what works, many people are using this technology for your work. It is no longer sufficient for teachers to impart content knowledge, but they have to encourage higher levels of cognitive skills, promote information literacy, and nurture collaborative working practices. All these are greatly facilitated by the use of ICTs in teaching, however, a genuine and sophisticated integration is necessary and thus teacher training in this regard becomes crucial. In conclution the use of information communication technology in ESL and EFL classroom helps understand and apply the different resources and tools that offer internet, the teachers can uses in your classroom, for long time ago this tools we didn’t know so important are, nowadays students and teachers can works in different pages to make your work and other people will know that you write or update the information throughout system, this methodology have been successful for many teacher around the world, learning a new language or applying the ESL and EFL is so important in technology world although, for many students and teacher we didn’t know this methodology for not have experience, so young people like teachers we can learn this technique, the role of teachers has changed and continues to change from being an instructor to becoming a constructor, facilitator, coach, and creator of learning environments with ICT in teaching.
