Costs:
The project is supported by the Erasmus+ programme
Accommodation and food are covered 100%.
Travel costs will be reimbursed according on the travel distance per participant. Travel distances
are calculated using the DISTANCE CALCULATOR supported by the European Commission.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CALL

This activity allows young people aged 17-30 to express their personal commitment through
unpaid and full-time voluntary service for up to 12 months in another country within or outside the
European Union. Young volunteers are given the opportunity to contribute to the daily work of
organisations dealing with youth information and policies, young people's personal and socioeducational development, civic engagement, social care, inclusion of disadvantaged,
environment, non-formal education programmes, ICTs and media literacy, culture and creativity,
development cooperation, etc.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The project Move it will take place in municipalities of Casapesenna, Casal di Principe and San
Cipriano d'Aversa (Province of Caserta), with the main aim to realise specific actions of recovery
and restitution to the local community of public sports areas that are in a state of abandon or
were undergoing requalification interventions. Through the adaptation, predisposition and
preparation of these goods for the start of activities of sport animation, the association intend to
promote the sport among young people of the territory with the aim of improve health and
psychophysical wellbeing and encourage integration, active participation in social life, tolerance,
acceptance of diversity and mutual respect.
The project activities promote the creation of sporting animation paths, integrated with activities
based on non-formal education with a purpose to create opportunities to young people to spend
their free time in positive and constructive way, avoiding in this way deviant behaviours.
The project will involve 4 volunteers, 2 from Spain and 2 from Croatia and it will last 10 month.
Moreover, our project aims to strengthen the network of third sector organisation of the local
territory and promote volunteering as a tool to improve the local territory and as a valuable
experience for professional and personal growth of volunteers.

General objectives:
Recovery and restitution to the local community of sports public spaces through voluntary actions
and sport animation addressed to young people of the territory with the aim of promoting health
and physical activity with the involvement of volunteers EVS

Specific objectives:

Adjustment of public spaces for the realization of activities of sports animation.

Starting activities designed to promote health and healthy lifestyles.
Promotion of volunteering and in particular of the European Voluntary Service;
Promotion of active European citizenship, cultural diversity, integration and inclusion;
Spread on the territory of the values and fundamental principles of the European Union.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

STEP 2: Send all documents to the coordinating person of your sending organisation (SO)
until 25th June 2016

STEP 3: A first selection will be made by the SOs until 28th of June. The SO will contact all
volunteers who fulfil basic expectations and the HO will communicate with them through
Internet, discussing possibilities and opportunities (skype interviews). The volunteer will be
selected according to his/her motivation to work with GIOSEF, and according to the skills
they have (see "volunteer profile).
