capital Just by its rich culture
alone, Melbourne can effortlessly
secure its place as one of the most
vibrant destinations in the country
and in the world. Its diverse,
multifaceted culture and society is a
very important factor in what draws
tourists into the city.
It is probably the most cultured
and politically traditional among all
the cities in Australia.
Melbournes cultural landscape is
strongly influenced by local traditions
and Melburnian themes, in which
both are its predominant features.
The
locals
also
have
an
unparalleled enthusiasm for festivals,

literature, and sports. Melbournes
four million residents love sports! All
sports centers and venues scattered
around the city could affirm to that.
It even has a reputation for being
the national sporting capital among
Australians. The largest sports
stadium in Australia, Melbourne
Cricket Ground, located at Yarra
Park in East Melbourne is definitely
a must-visit for every sports lover
out there.

Climate
If youre the type who cant
decide what is the weather you enjoy
the most, its good to know that
theres such a place like Melbourne
for you. Melbournes climate is often
described as having four seasons in
one day Mostly, the city experiences
temperate climate as it does during
spring and autumn. While summers
are warm to hot, and winters are cool.
The months of March to May
(autumn) is when Melbourne cools
down, becomes chiller from June
to August (winter), starts warming
up come September to November
(spring) and heats up from December

to February (summer). Its top

temperature is usually around January
and February, and the coldest are June
and July. The average temperature in
summer is 25 C and 14 C in winter.
One thing about the weather in
Melbourne is its almost teasing-like
unpredictability. So an important tip
to keep up with Melbourne weather is
to always bring an umbrella with you
and a maybe a coat or two. An hour
ago you could be shivering, and now
you could be wearing the thinnest
of fabrics and still feel hot. That is
Melbourne weather for you mate.

Before And After

Moving Guide For
Melbourne Movers
Moving to the beautiful city of Melbourne will be a lot easier
if youve come fully prepared. Here are some additional moving
guide that will help you plan, organize, and be Melbourne
ready before and after your house move. Because who are we
kidding? Being prepared is the new cool.

BEFORE MOVING:

Plan in Advance
The key to a smooth house move is through careful planning.
Now, improvising is a technique some could actually pull off,
but with moving house? Just forget it.
A handy moving checklist is also available for download.
Declutter
Start from the things you dont need anymore. Hold a
garage sale for extra money or donate some to charity, you
have plenty of options. Youve not only earned cash, youve also
shortened the packing process.
Packing
Use good quality boxes for your belongings. You can buy
packing boxes from furniture removalist companies that would
ensure your items are in a damage-free state upon arriving
to your new house. Make sure you use padding materials like
bubble wraps or just plain clothing to wrap around fragile items.
Label
Dont forget to label your boxes after packing. Write the
contents in each box and what rooms they had to go in, for a
much easier unpacking later.
Hire A Removalist
You could do the move all by yourself but if it feels too
much work for you, you could always hire reliable removalist
companies to help you out. Make sure that they have insurance
for covering damaged belongings should there be any.
