Justifications
The carpet tiles chosen for the fitness center are low profile tiles that allow accessible transition from a hard surface. The aesthetics are cohesive
through the facility and play on the community aspect of the company. The three carpet materials all have sustainably certification such as Silver
Cradle to Cradle, NSF/ ANSI Standard 140, and are produced in a Gold LEED certified facility.
The Rigid tiles are installed in the Juice bar to help with ease of cleanliness and maintenance. The are Certified Genuine by the Porcelain Tile
Certification Agency and promote better indoor air quality with low to zero VOCs and being FloorScore Certified. The color and texture of
the material has more warmer tones to keep the spaces from seeming sterile and cold with mainly grey tones. The simulated wood grain has
variations of grey to keep is cohesive.
The Core LVT was chosen for higher traffic areas to help with slip resistance yet keep the same aesthetics with the chosen porcelain tiles. They
are also certified just as the carpet with the addition of being FloorScore Certified.

The finish of the cabinetry was chosen for the strength and durability characteristics of laminate. It coordinates aesthetically with the other
finishes in the design, while also having easy maintenance and will last for years to come.
The solid surface counter tops for both the retail space and juice bar were chose for durability and able to resit stains and scratches. The
surface is easy to care for by following the car and maintenance recommendations from the manufacturer. The solid surface also has a
Gold Greenguard certification and LEED certification credits.
The wall base will be installed through the facility. It is PVC free and is highly durable and extremely flexible, allowing for easy installations
around columns, corners and architectural curves. It contributes to the LEED Green Building Certification System and meets FloorScore
and CHPS criteria.
Stainless steel countertops were chosen for the prep area of the juice bar along the east wall. Stainless steel is a great option for food
service areas due to its non-porous material that resists stains, bacteria, and mold. It is also very easy to clean and maintain.

The mosaic tile was chosen for the juice bar wall for easy cleanability and maintenance. The tile allows for splashes and spills to be cleaned easily
and with proper maintenance, be stain resistant. The circle pattern gives a different geometric aesthetic from the vertical and horizontal lines. The
color is has a slight green and silver tint to coordinate with the other colors through the facility.
The accent wall behind the reception desk has a dimensional panel with a brushed aluminum finish that will allow the companys logo to be the
focal point. The panel is stain resistant and can be cleaned with usual liquid cleaners and a soft cloth.
The artisan resin panel was chosen to be installed in the lounge area to add privacy entering and exiting the locker rooms. The color was chosen
to keep with the scheme throughout the facility. They can be cleaned easily with liquid cleaners and a soft cloth.
The slat wall system chosen for the retail space will allow for many items for purchase to be visible throughout the store. The Slatwall finish was
chose to coordinate with the the design colors in the entire facility, while allowing the items placed in front to stand out.

Maintenance

Carpet maintenance:
Regular vacuuming is the single most important part of a maintenance program. When vacuuming the appropriate speed of 1.8 feet per
second, four passes total for high traffic areas, two north and south, and two east and west. Immediate action against spots and spills also
reduce the probability of a permanent stain. Spotting solutions should be selected as appropriate for the specific type of spot or spill. Deep
cleaning is designed to remove trapped soils. Hot water extraction is the most effective method and the only restorative method
recommended by Bentley Mills.
Luxury Vinyl Tile Maintenance:
The following equipment can be used to maintain vinyl floors, a dry dust mop, automatic scrubber of 350 max rpms used once every 2
weeks, mechanical cleaning disks every 2 to 3 months with an Alkaline Cleaner pH 8-11, daily cleaning with a regular mop or microfiber
mop. Neutral cleaners can be used daily with regular mopping. Disinfectants can be used once every 2 weeks but must be rinsed within 15
minutes of contact with the floor.
Porcelain Tile Maintenance:
Damp mop: Clean floor with a neutral pH detergent such as Diversey Stride,Taski R-50 or equivalent. Follow manufacturers directions for
mixing and using.
Machine (auto scrubber): If desired, scrub with a rotary scrubber using a 3M red type scrubbing pad or automatic scrubber with equivalent
scrubbing pads or brushes.

Roppe Pinnacle Wall Base:

Dust the wall base to remove any dirt or particulates accumulated on the wall base Remove any spills or other large deposits of dirt and / or
debris. Never use any cleaners that contain ammonia, acids, or bleach. Tend to spills quickly. Sealers do not prevent 100% of damages caused
by spills. Never apply wax or acrylics to the surface as they may damage the stone.
Laminate cabinets:
To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent. Never use cleaners containing acid, alkali, or sodium
hypochlorite. These cleaners will mar, etch, corrode, and permanently discolor the laminate surface.
Solid Surface Countertops:
For day to day cleaning, warm soapy water or non-abrasive household cleaners such as glass cleaner, Fantastik, Formula 409or
commercially available solid surface cleaners will remove most residues. Then rinse and towel dry the surface to prevent spotting especially in
areas with hard water. For a final touch, you may apply Protect All Shine Plusto your countertop for a clean, dry professional appearance.
Stainless Steel Countertops:
Clean the stainless steel countertop frequently with warm water, soap, or ammonia using a sponge or soft cloth. Thoroughly rinse with water,
and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Reception Dimensional Panel:

Profile should be cleaned periodically. A regular, seasonal cleaning program will dramatically help prevent noticeable weathering and dirt buildup. 3form recommends the use of the following common cleaning products: Windex, Formula 409, Simple Green, Fantastik, Virex, 10:1 Water/
Bleach Solution.
Juice Bar Mosaic Tile:
Never use any cleaners that contain ammonia, acids, or bleach.
Tend to spills quickly. Sealers do not prevent 100% of damages caused by spills.
Never apply wax or acrylics to the surface as they may damage the stone.
Lounge Artisan Panel:
3form Varia Ecoresin, like all thermoplastic resin materials, should be cleaned periodically. A regular, seasonal cleaning program will dramatically
help prevent noticeable weathering and dirt build-up. 3form recommends the use of the following common cleaning products: Windex, Formula
409, Simple Green, Fantastik, Virex, 10:1 Water/Bleach Solution.
Retail Slatwall System:
Faces can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp (not wet) cloth and mild cleaners such as
Windex, Murphy Oil Soap, Pine Sol, Lemon Fresh, Lestoil, or Mr. Clean. Do not spray
any liquid onto panels. Apply cleaner to cloth only, clean panels and wipe with a clean
dry cloth. Seal any scratches prior to cleaning.
