1 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate

and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to
thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty
unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the
third and fourth generation (Exodus 34:6, 7).

2 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have

suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast
(1 Peter 5:10).

3 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know

7 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution

or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death
all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him who loved us (Romans 8:35-37).

8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching,
then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully (Romans 12:68).

act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8).
