New eco-premium technology

Berol PBX is a unique concentrate containing gentle but effective stain fighting
oxidants and surfactants for use in premium performance spot removers for carpet
and fabrics. It can also be used as a raw material in oxidative cleaning products.

Berol PBX delivers superior performance in stain

removal tests.

Berol PBX is a DfE certified technology that

delivers stain fighting and grease cutting in one
environmentally-friendly package.

Test Method
Common household soils were applied to cream-colored synthetic carpet
in three rows. Each row contained three stains of decreasing size. The first
row of spots was left untreated. The second row of spots was treated with
the US market leading spray-on product for carpet spot removal (used as
purchased) and the third row of spots was treated with Berol PBX (diluted
1 part Berol PBX to 6 parts deionized water). After five minutes the treated
areas were blotted, then wiped with a damp paper towel and the carpet
was allowed to air-dry.

What is Berol PBX?

Hydrogen peroxide stability in Berol PBX

This product strikes an excellent balance between stability and effectiveness. Products
that are over-stabilized do not perform well because the oxygen is not able to activate.
However, test results show that Berol PBX is not only very stable but it also performs!
Accelerated aging tests on Berol PBX also indicate that nearly all of the original
hydrogen peroxide remains after one year at 25C:
Concentrate has ~86% of original hydrogen peroxide
Diluted ready-to-use formulation has >89% of original hydrogen peroxide
Recommended applications
Carpet spot removal
Laundry pre-treatment stain fighters
Non-chlorine liquid bleach cleaners
Hard surface cleaners for kitchens and bathrooms
