Ayam Goreng Kremes - Fried Chicken with Crispy Spiced Flakes

Ingredients

1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces


10 bay leaves (Indonesian: daun salam)
2 tablespoon coriander powder (Indonesian: bubuk ketumbar)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
300 ml water
2 tablespoon all purpose flour (Indonesian: tepung terigu)
2 tablespoon rice flour (Indonesian: tepung beras)
teaspoon baking powder
oil for deep frying
Grind the following into spice paste
8 shallots (Indonesian: bawang merah)
8 cloves garlic (Indonesian: bawang putih)
5 candlenuts (Indonesian: kemiri)
Accompaniments
steamed white rice
sambal terasi (or chili sauce of your choice)

Place chicken pieces, spice paste, bay leaves, coriander, salt, sugar, and water in a pot. Mix well and
bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from the pot and set aside.
Strain the cooking liquid, mix this liquid with all purpose flour, rice flour, and baking powder. Mix well
into a thin batter and set aside.
Deep fry chicken in hot oil until crispy and golden brown. Remove and drain on wire rack or paper
towel.
Pour the thin batter in thin streams into the hot oil (be careful since it tends to splatter at the
beginning). Once the batter is crispy and golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes, scoop it up and drain on
wire rack or paper towel.
Serve the chicken along with the crispy spiced flakes (kremes) with steamed white rice accompanied
with sambal terasi or any chili sauce of your choice.

shrimp, chicken and eggs when she visited the Bulgari Resort in Bali and we were lucky enough to get the
recipe.
Here's now to recreate it at home.
NASI GORENG INDONESIAN WOK SEARED RICE WITH SHRIMP CHICKEN AND EGGS

First you need to make two basic spice pastes and a seafood marinade. The pastes and marinade can be
stored in a snap jar in the fridge for up to 1 month.
Bumbu Nasi Goreng (basic spice paste)
Makes about 500g
Ingredients
30ml vegetable oil
100g garlic, roughly sliced
100g red chilli, sliced
100g chopped shallots -small eschallots
20g ginger, roughly sliced

50g candlenut, chopped (substitute with macadamias or cashews) correct


1oog tomato, roughly sliced
1ooml water

Freshly boiled water
4 to 5 persons who enjoy fine food

100gms. packet of Pecel Hippy Paste
Plain white boiled rice
Fresh water spinach (or any of your favourite fresh green leaf vegetable)
Fresh green beans
Fresh bean sprouts

Put the Pecel Hippy paste in the bowl.

Add Hot Water to the paste.(the less water you add, the thicker the consistencyand the spicier the
taste).
Step #3Using the back of your spoonmix the Pecel Hippy paste with the hot wateruntil the sauce is
smooth and slightly runny.
Step #4Once smooth, pour the Pecel Hippy sauce overthe white boiled rice, water spinach,green

How to Make Strawberry Lemon Ice


1. Warm up the water on medium heat.
2. Add the sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
3. Let it to boil with continuously stirred.
4. Turn off the heat.
5. Add strawberries and 1/4 part of the lemon mixture into a blender.
6. Mash it until well blended.
7. Filter strawberries that have been crushed.
8. Combine the filter strawberries and remaining lemon mixture, and then add cold

Corn Patty (Perkedel Jagung)

Materials:

150 grams of wheat flour

2 medium sweet corn

4 eggs

1,5 teaspoon of Salt

3 red onion

2 cloves of medium garlic

Procedure:
1. First, you blend the red chili, garlic, onion together.
2. Put the sweet corn with flour, and the eggs in a bowl. Give a little water and

1. Bersihkan ayam dan potong menjadi 8 bagian

4. Tambahkan air sedikit dan masak ayam hingga 1/2 matang dan angkat

2 bags boil-in-bag long-grain rice

2 cans diced tomatoes with onion and green peppers, undrained

2 cups chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped celery
2 tbsps chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
2 tsps salt-free Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp hot sauce

1/4 tsp Spanish smoked paprika (optional)

How To Make Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya:
1. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add oil.
2. Add chicken and cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place chicken in an
electric slow cooker.
3. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic to pan and saut 4 minutes or until
tender.
4. Add onion mixture, turkey kielbasa, Cajun seasoning, dried thyme, smoked
paprika, 2 cans diced tomatoes with onion and green peppers, and chicken
broth into slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours
5. Cook rice according to package directions.
6. Add cooked rice and remaining ingredients except parsley garnish to slow
