Enter total number of doors into room and
relative humidity of room

Enter door info, including dimensions, type, total time open per day, and
strip curtain factor is applicable (.5 is commonly used if they are in good
condition)

Miscellaneous Loads

Chance to enter various loads including lights, people,


fork trucks, and motors (such as evap fan motors). Be
sure to enter if the box is indoor or outdoor.

Finally Selecting Equipment

A lot to enter here: start with whether you want a system,


evaporator only, or condensing unit only. Then specify the
number of CU and evaps needed.
Note: Change Capacity ranges to 50 for both to expand
number of selections.

Next: Enter target TD (10 is normal, freezers may run down


to 8, coolers may go as high as 20). Enter 2 for suction line
loss as a rule of thumb. Adjust Ambient if needed.

Next: Specify voltage required for Condensing units and


Evaporators. Select defrost method needed. Choose
Refrigerant. Select Options needed for the order.
