these questions, and then recite these answers. You should do all 3 steps
(Question, Read, Recite) for a heading before proceeding to the next heading.
When you are finished you should have a minimum of 5 questions with their
respective answers.
II.

QUESTION:
With each heading formulate at least one question that can be answered by
the text. Write these questions in the margin of the book or in your reading

EVALUATE YOUR EXPERIENCE USING SQ3R . Which parts work best

for you? What didn't work well? Explain why.

I have used SQ3R many times throughout high school and college. Using it for this
assignment went okay. The SQ3R worked very well for my assigned readings for
one of my classes. It had a summary at the end of each section. I have never
noticed that till now. The parts that worked the best were the review, reciting, and
questions. When I have something to look for when I am reading I understand the
material better and remember it. Reciting what I learned helped me understand
what I was reading and helped me remember what I was reading. The only thing
that didnt work for me was the underlining what I read. I still went crazy and
highlighted way to much stuff.
