DNV Type Approved

DNV

4-cycle, direct-injected design runs cool, quiet, and efficient. Aftercooling helps deliver maximum fuel economy, torque reserve, and reliability. Low-friction, high-ring pistons deliver good fuel economy. Three ring design provides excellent oil control. Free-breathing cylinder heads, contoured valves, and large valve ports provide excellent fuel efficiency. Water-cooled turbocharger and exhaust manifold for cooler, quieter performance.

G

Dynamically-balanced, carbon-steel crankshaft has fillethardened journal surfaces for superior strength.

G

High capacity heat exchanger is designed for reliable operation in adverse conditions.

G

G

Compact, low-profile, in-line design for easier installation. Replaceable valve seats, individual liners, and 45-degree connecting rod/cap joint design makes these diesels rebuildable within the hull.

Same-side service points make daily maintenance fast and easy.

Internal coolant passages eliminate hoses and fittings that can leak or break.
G

As many as three optional auxiliary drives provide reliable power for wash down pumps, power steering pumps and hydraulic pumps.

G

Positive valve rotators constantly clean each valve, face, and seat for cooler operation and long life. Heavy duty, one-piece, cast iron block provides extra strength and quiet operation.
