Prepare the CF-card.

1.) Connect the USB-card reader to the Computer. Insert a CF-memory card in the
card reader (minimum 32KB).
2.) Open the Explorer program in Windows. Search the CF-card and format it in
FAT-Format. Be carefully if the card has more than 32KB.

3.) Make a new directory on the CF-card

with the name BDM.
BDM is standing for Backup Data Module and is
coming from the MCS-5 Typ1 system.

4.) Copy the received file Diasys.dat in

the root of the CF-card and the
BDMfiles.exe in the directory BDM
In the future will the BDMfile.exe get a new
name as for example
BDM_40011_013_04_003.EXE.

Note: For later use, it is recommended to

save this two files on your hard disk too.
The Diasys.dat you also need for the
diasys program to get access to the SAM.
You must later store the diasys.dat under
C:\DIASYS\CAN\your assembly description\BDMbackup since is it not possible to
get connection to the SAM with the diasys program.
