Prior Knowledge, Context, and Motivation:


During the start of the period, I will start a discussion on what was the Cold War and who
were the two superpowers going against each other.

Differentiated Instruction:

After the bell ringer, I will start lecturing on the escalation of


the Cold War. For the past week, the students have been
learning the origins of the Cold War. For this lecture, it will
learn the escalation of the cold war, the fall of nationalists
China. Student will also learn about the Korea War and the
end result of it.
During the lesson, the students will answer their Cornell
notes, which is located on their handout. I will ask random
students to answer the Cornell notes.
At the end of the lecture, the students will have summarized
the topic of the lecture. I will take a sample from 3 students to
assess what they learn.
After the lecture, Students will answer five questions from the
book. These questions are for the students to read the material
that was just lecture on and reinforce the lesson. Student will
be able to work with an elbow partner.
