STATEMENT OF WORK
High End House Construction

Purpose
The purpose of the construction of the house is to provide shelter for the owner.
Scope of Work
The scope of work of the project includes all planning, purchasing of materials,
surveying, making of cash flows, determination of other factors and construction. The
selection of workers will be based from the ongoing works. All materials will be selected
properly by the personnel in charge and will undergo mechanical test if necessary. Each
stage of construction will require the supervision of skilled worker and of Civil Engineer.
Each problem will take in to consideration for the project to be constructed properly. The
schedule of work will be followed to finish the construction on time. The project includes
the finishing of ceiling walls, roofs, doors, windows, as well as landscaping the front
area of the house. It also includes the installation of complete electrical pipes and
wirings, all electrical fixtures such as lightings, outlets and switches. Also this includes
the installation of plumbing pipes and complete plumbing fixtures and all accessories
needed.
Location of Work
The project is located at San Juan, Bato, Camarines Sur.
Period of Performance
The period of performance of the project is 1 year and 2 months beginning of
October 5, 2012 to December 5, 2013. All work must be scheduled to finish the job on
time and avoid problems on site. Any modification or changes in the schedule or time of
performance will be requested through the Engineer in charge of the project and owner.

Applicable Standards:
National Structural Code of the Philippines is an applicable standard of the
project. Also the National Building Code of the Philippines will also be applied.
Acceptance Criteria:
The owner will be the one to decide whether the project is accepted or not, after
the project has been finished the owner and the engineer will sign a project closure
which states that the project has already been done and accepted. The owner will
observe the completeness of the project as well as his desired outcome.
Problems and deficiencies in the project will be discussed by the owner and
contractor to decide what measure can be done to resolve it.
Special Requirements:
The project requires heavy equipment (if needed) for the heavy works to lessen
the time of work.
Type of Contract/Payment Schedule:
The budget will be given by the owner for every phase to be constructed, the
engineer or contractor will be the one to make billings and give salaries to the laborer
based on the contract signed and approved.
Miscellaneous:
All workers will allow taking overtime with extra pay, also all materials testing will
be conducted on the trusted testing center. All materials will be bought in the trusted and
reliable source to avoid those substandard materials
