Licensing Options

The GASCalc 5.0 software is the latest release of our popular suite of analytical tools
specifically developed to aid in the design and operation of natural gas distribution, gathering,
transmission, plant, and fuel piping systems. It includes routines for calculating a variety of
stress, flow, and pressure values for devices and piping associated with virtually any piping
application that transports or delivers natural gas. Its wide range of features provide the ability
to investigate piping problems from the well head to the burner tip.
The software is available in the following licensing configurations.

Demonstration

DESCRIPTION
A full featured, time limited version of the software. Available for download from our
website www.b3pe.com.

Evaluation

A full featured, extended time limited version of the software. Available upon request for
approved Users.

Single User License (Lite)

Provides limited feature access for a single User in a stand alone installation. Features
include the following calculation routines: Gas Properties, Atmospheric Pressure, Fixed
Pressure Factor, Standard Volume, Orifice Meter, Pipe Flow, Hoop Stress, Regulator,
Relief Valve, Lost Gas From Damage, Units Conversion, Energy Conversion, and others.
One Single User License is required for each concurrent or simultaneous User.

Single User License (Full)

Provides full access for a single User in a stand alone or concurrent network installation.
With the exception of the Enterprise and Corporate Licenses, one Single User License is
required for each concurrent or simultaneous User.

Enterprise License

Provides full access for an unlimited number of Users in a stand alone, network, or
combination installation for a single operating company. For example, if a number of
operating companies are owned by a single holding company, with the exception of the
Corporate License, one Enterprise License is required for each operating company. This
license is intended for a single operating company with multiple Users. The Enterprise
License is more cost effective than multiple Single User Licenses when more than seven
(7) Users will be using the software in a single operating company.

Corporate License

Provides full access for an unlimited number of Users in a stand alone, network, or
combination installation at unlimited locations. This license is intended for use by
multiple operating companies owned by a single holding company. The licensee is the
holding company. The Corporate License is more cost effective than multiple Enterprise
Licenses when more than three (3) operating companies will be using the software.

The GASCalc software is distributed on CD or by way of electronic download. The software requires a computer
configured to run Windows XP or newer. The terms of the Enterprise and Corporate licenses allow the User to make
multiple copies of the installation software and documentation, and to allow the software to be installed on multiple machines
as defined by the limitations of the license.
Purchase of a license provides authority for perpetual use of the software, to the extent that the software will operate
unmodified on future operating systems. An annual maintenance fee may be applied for custom installations or in cases where
a non-standard license agreement is used, otherwise no annual maintenance fee is required. Updates to the software are
available for download at no additional charge from our website. Technical support on the use of the software is provided
by way of telephone or email communication at no additional fee.
