WELCOME MOYER: The Mariners have signed RHP Dillon Moyer to a Minor League Contract and assigned him to Short-A Everett in the
Norhtwest League. Moyer, 25, was 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA (7 ER, 7.0 IP) with 3 strikeouts and 4 walks in 5 relief appearances with Rookie Ogden
this season. In 4 relief appearances with advanced A Rancho Cucamonga in 2015, Moyer was 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA (1 ER, 4.0 IP) with 5
strikeouts and 2 walks. Prior to converting to pitching, Moyer hit .194 (160x823) with 82 runs, 39 doubles, 8 triples, 2 home runs, 76 RBI and
71 walks in 254 career games in parts of 3 minor leagues seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Moyer was drafted by Minnesota in the 22nd
round of the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign. Moyer played 2 seasons at UC Irvine before transferring to UC San Diego,
where he ranked among the Tritons team leaders in 2013 in doubles (T1st, 16), stolen bases (2nd, 15), runs (3rd, 33), hits (3rd, 57) and RBI
(3rd, 28). Los Angeles-NL selected Moyer in the 38th round of the 2013 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Moyer is the son of Mariners Hall of
Famer Jamie Moyer.

The DSL AL All-Stars defeated the DSL NL All-Stars 4-3 in the Dominican Summer League All-Star game on July 17. DSL Mariners outfielder
Carlos Vargas (1x1, R, 3B, 2 RBI) was named the MVP, going 1-for-1 with 1 run scored and a 2-run triple as the DSL AL All-Stars starting

Seattle Mariners minor league OF Tyler ONeill (Canada) and RHP Dylan Unsworth (South Africa) have been selected to represent the World
team in the 18th annual SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game to be played on Sunday, July 10th at Petco Park in San Diego, as part of All-Star
weekend.
The Mariners have had 37 selections (including ONeill and Unsworth) to the Futures Game since its first began in 1999. Eight players on the
current 25-man roster (+DL) played in the Futures Game in the past: Robinson Can (2003-04), Nelson Cruz (2005), Edwin Diaz (2015),
Felix Hernandez (2004), Chris Iannetta (2005), Ketel Marte (2015), James Paxton (2011) and Taijuan Walker (2012-13). Can (All-Star:
2006, 2010-14, Futures Game: 2003 & 2004), Cruz (All-Star: 2009, 2013-14, Futures Game: 2005) and Hernandez (All-Star: 2009, 2011-14;
Futures Game: 2004) have competed in both the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game and the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
