1. Please be informed that at about 4:00 PM of May 3, 2016, joint elements of

Provincial Anti- Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG/PSOG) led by
PSINSP JIGGER C GIMENO assisted by 605th MARPSTA led by PINSP ANDRE
GLENN M MANGUBAT and Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) personnel with
PDEA COC Nr. 20003-052016-0010 03 1435H May 2016, valid from May 3 to 5, 2016,
conducted a buy-bust/entrapment operation at Sitio Tulubhan, Brgy. Manocmanoc,
Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan which resulted to the arrest of the suspect CARLO
GLENN HORTINELA y ZAMORA 27 years old, born on April 12, 1989 at Bacolod City,
male, single, with address at Purok Alalahoy, Brgy. Banago, Bacolod City, Negros
Occidental, and temporarily residing at Sitio Tulubhan, Brgy.Manocmanoc, Boracay
Island, Malay, Aklan, wherein the operative (poseur-buyer) recovered one (1) sachet of
suspected shabu, a dangerous drugs marked by seizing officer as CGH-BB with date
and signature of the seizing officer, in exchange to five hundred pesos consists of
five (5) pieces one hundred peso bills with serial numbers RK577318, DP087986,
WE916917, JZ008849 and AH986554 (buy-bust/marked money). Further recovered
from possession, custody and control of the suspect were fourteen (14) heat-sealed
transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance of suspected
shabu, a dangerous drugs marked by seizing officer as CGH-1 to CGH-14 with
date and signature, one (1) improvised tooter with residue of suspected shabu
marked as CGH-15 with date and signature, three (3) improvised bamboo clippers
collectively marked as CGH-16, one (1) improvised clipper (straw) color
yellow/brown marked as CGH-17, one (1) scissor marked as CGH-18, two (2)
packs of empty plastic containers collectively marked as CGH-19, one (1)
identification card with name CARLO GLENN HORTINELA, and one (1) unit
cellphone Myphone color blue/black with text messages of illegal drugs
transactions. That inventory and preparation of receipt of property/items seized was
made at the place of operation in the presence of the suspect, witnessed by Mr.

Reynald Bandiola, reporter of Radyo Todo, Hon. Ramoncito Colesio, Brgy

Kagawad Brgy Manoc-Manoc and Prosecutor Flosemer Chris Gonzales, DOJRepresentative.
2. Suspect was informed of the nature of his offense committed, informed of his
constitutional rights in a dialect known to and understood by him and subsequently
brought to Malay Municipal Hospital, Malay, Aklan for Physical/ Medical examination.
Suspect is now under the custody of BTAC for booking and other documentation,
pending for filling of appropriate charges.
