The local equilibrium distribution function with a relaxation time determine the

type of problem needed to be solved. The beauty of this equation lies in its
simplicity and can be applied for many physics by simply specifying a different
equilibrium distribution function and source term (external force). Adding a source
term (force term) to the above equation is straightforward. However, there are a
few concerns, which will be discussed in the following chapters. Also, the details
of implementing the above equation for different problems, such as momentum,
heat and mass diffusion, advectiondiffusion without and with external forces, will
be presented in the following chapters.
