twopossibletheories,thathaveenoughevidenceforeitheronetobetrue.Himynameis

BeforeIcontinue,though,IwouldliketosaythatallweknowabouthowAtlantislooksisbyan
ancientgreekphilosophernamedCalaetos.HebelievethatAtlantiswassituatedjustpastthe
pillarsofherculessomewherenearMorrrocoandthatAtlantishadthreerings.Acircleinthe
middle,anotherringoutsideofthatone,andthenanadditionalouterring,alloftheserings
Calaetoclaimedtobeharbours.Inthesmallestcirclewouldofbeenweretheverygarnished
placewassituated.Therewouldhavealsobeenonemainpathwaytoenterthecity,aswellas
twotemplesonthecentreisland,forwhichhebelievedwastoworshiponeoftheirGodsnamed
Psyme.AswellastemplesAtlantisalsoissaidtohavehadanAcropolis.AnAcropolisis
usuallyafortressonhighground.Atlantishadmanytemplesandshrines.TheAtlanteanculture

RecentlyagroupofpeoplehavefollowedarchaeologistsGeorgeBonserandAdolfSchulten
theory,whoclaimedthatAtlantiswasburiedundermudflatsinCadiz,Spain.In2004ayoung
philosopher,RainerKuehnemadeheadlinesabouttheirtheoryusingphotosfromasatellite
dish.HebelievesthattheirregularpatternsarewhatusedtobethethreeharboursofAtlantis.
ThemudflatsAtlantiswaslocatedonusedtobepartiallyunderwaterwithsandbars
everywhere,thiswouldbetheharbours.Mr.Kuehneclaimsthatthecircularpatternsarethe
exactmeasurementsaswhatCalaetosdescribed.Aswellasthatthereisalsoarectangular
shapeonthecircleinthemiddlenearthepalace.Thisrectangularshapeshouldbethetwo
templesmadeforPsyme.

TheorietwotakesplaceintheislandsofGreece,onCrete.Architects,havefoundanancient
civilization,thatwaspartofGreece,Manoa.Manoacontainsveryelaboratearchitecture.The
Moaninpeopleweresaidtobemasterbuilders.TheManoinarchitectureverymuchresembles
whatCalaetosdescribed,acitybeyonditstime.TheManoinshadwhatlookstobelikeonemain
pathwayintothecity,aswellasmanytemplesandshrines.Inthemiddlethecitycontaineda
verylargebuilding,whichisnamedKnossospalace,verydetailed.Thiswasamegastructure.
Thiscivilizationalsohadtohaveanacropoliswithhalls,andthebullneededtobeavery
powerfulfigure.Anditdoes,thiscitycouldoncelongagonotofbeencalledbyManoabutby
Atlantis.

Bothofthesetheories,couldverypossiblyleadustoacityoncethoughtmythbutsoona
