JAPAN is one of the great cultured and industri
alized countries of the world. A religious people
with many ethical systems. Yet, a nation without
Christ—without hope!
GOD said, "The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from
heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, deal
ing out retribution to those who do not know God
and to those who do not obey the gospel of our
Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eter
nal destruction." II Thessalonians 1:7-9.

Dale and Peggy Wilkinson with their children Mark
and Beth first went to Japan in the fall of 1970. Timo

thy was born the following Spring. After a period of lan
guage study, they became active in evangelism in and
around the city of Sendai, the capitol city of Miyagi
Prefecture in the northern part of Japan's main island.
Their work there involved children's meetings, outdoor
evangelism, new church planting, home Bible studies,
and leadership training.

THE

WILKINSONS PLAN

TO RETURN

JAPAN IN AUGUST

TO

1975

. .BAPTIZING THEM. . .

Upon returning to Japan the Wilkinsons will place
added emphasis on establishing "house churches" in the
homes of Christians who are scattered and isolated.

.Scattered due to job transfer or other circumstance.
Isolated from a church and Christian fellowship. Isola
ted from all the help and encouragement they so des
perately need. Left alone in a Buddhist culture they of
ten sphituaily weaken and die. SOUGHT — STRENGTHENED--SENT,they and thechurches in Japan can grow.
