INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL MANILA

A guide for parents to stay connected
within the ISM community.

THE ISM PARENT GUIDE
PowerSchool
The ISM Parent Portal is linked to PowerSchool, a student information system that allows parents to update important contact information, view children’s class schedules, grades and attendance. Re-enrollment also uses this
system during the fourth quarter of each school year. You can login to the
Parent Portal via the ISM website. Please contact your school office for your
PowerSchool login information.

Coffee Mornings
Parent Coffees are held throughout the school year by each
school division. These coffee mornings offer a chance for parents to know what’s happening in the ISM Community. Parent
Coffee events are marked on the Annual School Calendar and
are also announced in each school Newsletter. Make sure to
watch out for these and come join!

Debit System
Starting SY16-17, ISM will implement a full debit system in
the Bearcat Kantina, Cafe and the ES, MS, HS Libraries. This
debit system provides customers with a cashless payment
system once the customer ID has been loaded with funds.
Adding funds can be done online, through the Cashier or using either of the
two Kiosks located on campus. To learn more, visit: ISM website > Student
Services.

ISM News and Events
All scheduled events for the school year can be found in the
Annual School Calendar, which is distributed to students on
the first day of classes during homeroom; announcements are
also done through the different School Parent Bulletins. Every Thursday,
you can expect to receive an email from the Advancement Office with information on Upcoming School Events.

ISM Website
The ISM website features
important information
for parents that includes
the latest news, calendar,
school publications, Parent Portal, PowerSchool,
links to school blogs, school directory, school forms and many more.
This site is your go-to for general
information on the school and the
different offices.

in ISM. The PCA’s objectives include
providing the ISM community with
fun, family-friendly activities and
social events throughout the year as
well as helping new families as they
transition into ISM.
To keep ISM families in touch, the
PCA is now utilizing Facebook to
share information about the many
events throughout the year. To ensure you do not miss a reminder:
Please “like” the ISM PCA Facebook
page and turn on your notifications
to receive feeds on upcoming ISM
and PCA events.
