Lama Chpa Audio Guide

for LAMA CHPA verses

chanted by Ven. Thubten Dechen
in accordance with tunes and instructions by
Lama Zopa Rinpoche

All verses are chanted in Tibetan unless otherwise noted.

Verses chanted in Tibetan are emphasized for receiving the blessing of
the tunes and to encourage a meditative mind.
Verses or sections recited in English are recommended to be done in
ones native language due to the importance of understanding the
meaning of those particular prayers.

for Tibet and the Prayer for the Long Life of His Holiness the Dalai
Lama. They are:

Prayer for Tibet

In short, may the good fruit of any extensive prayer to
Fully protect the Land of Snows, made by the Powerful
Protector Chenrezig
In the presence of the buddhas and their children,
Appear soon here and now.

Prayer for the Long Life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
May the nectar-stream of the blessings of the Lotus Holder
Always enter our hearts and nourish them with strength.
May we please you with oerings of dedicated practice,
And may we reach beyond the shores of perfect
compassionate deeds.
Due to the power of the blessings of the eminent buddhas
and bodhisattvas, the power of infallible dependent arising,
and the power of my pure special attitude, may all my pure
prayers succeed immediately.
