SEPTEMBER 2016
SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

Our first day of Sunday School will be Sunday, September 11th from 9:15
am until 10:15 am. Our Fall Festival will follow at 10:30 and our kids will
all be a part of the Festival.
We are going back to the Rotation program as the kids have commented that they missed it! We begin with our Opening and announcements
and then move to our rotation of the day. Our rotations include:
Crafts, Cooking, Games, and Movies. Preschoolers have their own lesson but may join the older kids on occasion. We wrap up from 10:00 to
10:15 am with music. We hope to share our music during church several
times this year.
Our first rotation is “The Lord’s Prayer.” We will be concentrating on
the Catechism as its 500-year milestone approaches in 2017, which will
be the year of “With New Voices – the Small Catechism in the 21st Century.”
At the end of each rotation, we will again do a community service project. We have some favorites we will repeat but we are always looking
for new projects. Your suggestions are welcomed!
Chelsey Anderson and Lexi Danner are teaching Preschool this year,
Jodi Moss will teach Crafts, and Kim Lang will teach in the Movie rotation. Deb Erickson and Karen Block will teach Music.

sessions!
