Delete the subscriber profile of an attached UE.

Test Execution Overview


Required equipment:
a) Mobile Equipment:
eNodeB, MME, SAE-GW
b) IMS-Equipment:
HSSd with AuC and USIM card provisioned in this AuC
c) PC in the IMS-Core with installed sniffer SW (e.g. Wireshark) tracing at least S6a
Diameter messages (tracing of the LTE network interfaces S1, S1U, S11 and Gi is
helpful but not required).
d) 1 x LTE UE supporting EPS AKA authentication (e.g. Samsung 4G USB Datacard GTB3710)
Prerequisites:
a) LTE subscriber provisioned in the Authentication centre (AuC) of the HSSd.
b) LTE UE with USIM of above provisioned LTE subscriber.
c) LTE subscriber including EPS PDN Context Data provisioned in HSSd
Additional information: none:

a) Attach UE to LTE network
b) Delete entire subscriber profile

Expected result:
a) Subscriber profile is deleted and HSS informs MME about the deleted subscriber
sending a CLR request to MME with SUBSCRIPTION_WITHDRAWAL flag.
b) MME deletes the subscriber from his database and will detach the client from the
network.
c) Depending on the client behavior it is possible to receive a new AIR request from MME
which will be answered with the error DIAMETER_ERROR_USER_UNKNOWN.

Test Procedure

Attach the Subscriber

LTE-UE

If your test client is not attached to the LTE network, follow the Test Procedure 1 to 4 from
testcase IMS-LTE001.

Delete Subscriber Profile

HSS

On the HSSd ProvGw GUI go to the HSS Administration, into Mobile Subscriber
Administration, Single Mobile Subscriber, Mobile Subscriber, Delete or AC Administration,
Delete AC Subscriber, delete the entire subscriber profile.

Verify the message flow

When the entire subscriber profile is deleted from HSS, HSS will inform the MME about the
deleted subscriber profile by sending a CLR requests with SUBSCRIPTION_WITHDRAWAL
flag to MME.
Depending on the client behavior it is possible to receive a new AIR request from MME
which will be answered with the error DIAMETER_ERROR_USER_UNKNOWN.
