Discuss the prospect of your dream job with your lecturer of practitioner on your
field of expertise.

Choose a target universities; collect data from their current students.


Create a binder to store and organize ideas, phrases, designs.
Visit and look up for the university prospectus student sites.
Do not hesitate to contact the graduate admission for your availability to apply.
Start compiling your strengths and weaknesses.
Be linier with your targeted program, career, and past experiences.
WRITING:

Placing the skill word at the start to make it easy for the admission board to pick out after a
quick scan.

Using Action Words (below) to convey achievement and impact: Achieved, analysed,
arranged, co-ordinated, demonstated

Be BOLD, do not afraid to considerate your skill like skilled communicator, advanced
operator on SPSS, etc

Adding quantifiables (e.g. numbers, timescales) to make your examples more concrete:
added 3 team members on very first internship week

Including a tangible outcome (in this case a completed stock-take) or testimony (e.g.
grade, increased responsibility or hours) to prove the impact of your contribution.

CV/resum must be spesific to the program you are applying for


Identifying skills developed during your latest degree as evidence for skills required
from your major and master programs

Uses verbs and actions words


Start with the most recent activity and work backwards
Uses voluntary experiences only if they are linier with your program
