Processed food doesn't necessarily mean fast food. Even fresh meat, fruit and
vegetables are not safe, if you buy them from a normal supermarket or grocery
store. Let's see how food is actually treated before being ready to be sold to
Commercially sold food is routinely treated with substances that can serve to
enhance its flavor, give it a longer shelf life or alter its appearance and taste.
Most of those additives are detrimental to food because they alter its energetic
and spiritual balance, but they are also rather harmful to our bodies directly,
and in some cases, they have been found responsible for illnesses as serious as
Some of the additives you can find in processed food are: artificial sweeteners,
colorings, preservatives, glazing agents, etc.
HERE is a study by the World Health Organization (it can’t get more
mainstream than this!!) linking processed meat to various types of cancer.
Processed food is most often prepared with the lowest grade ingredients, even
when it is marketed better and costs more. The objective here is profit (and not
only, as you will read elsewhere on this site), let’s not forget; so using premium
ingredients when the laws and consumer gullibility allow manufacturers not to,
means less profit. And, in fact, my friends, they indeed do not use quality
For instance, when you buy a tin of spam (ultra-processed meat in gelatin, if
you don’t know), do you think it’s made from prime pork meat? Do you think
those pigs were bred naturally and fed natural feeds? Do you think it has such
a long shelf life just like that, naturally? Well, I most certainly hope not, for your
sake. The meat used for tinned products, frozen meals, etc. is very often the
worst cut, if you’re lucky, or nothing more than snots, bones, skin, ears,
entrails, all ground together, in most cases. The animals from which the meat
comes are bred mechanically, kept in inhumane conditions and filled with
growth hormones and genetically altered feeds; typically, only rarely (if ever)
do they graze in a pasture or even feel its fresh grass. Furthermore, as
explained in point 1 above, the product is not prepared or conserved naturally.
3. THERE ARE FEW HEALTHY SUBSTANCES LEFT (enzymes, nutrients, fibers,
several processes)
Due to the several processes the store-bought food goes through, many of the
substances beneficial to our health are removed. Imagine that, just by cooking
food above 400 C (1040 F), we dissipate most of the enzymes, vitamins,
nutrients and minerals it contains. Now, I’m not exactly advocating a fully raw
