1. SKENARIO
Seorang Ibu yang memiliki anak laki laki berusia 7 (tujuh) tahun mengeluh
bahwa anaknya terus menerus batuk pilek disertai demam yang tak kunjung sembuh
setelah tiga hari berturut- turut. Selain itu sang anak juga sering mengalami sakit kepala
dan nyeri dada saat bernapas atau dalam keadaan batuk. Karena tak kunjung sembuh sang
Ibu membawa anaknya ke dokter dan melakukan pemeriksaan. Dokter mendiagnosis
bahwa sang anak menderita pneumonia dikarenakan polusi udara yang menyebabkan
infeksi bakteri, sehingga dokter menyarankan untuk mengkonsumsi antibiotic seperti
penicillin atau macrolide.
Pada penderita pneumonia, yang manakah antibiotic yang lebih efektif antara penicillin
dan atau macrolide ?
