About me
I am a journalist and editor living in London. Im currently employed by the Daily Mail on their sub-editing graduate trainee
programme. As part of the scheme, Im on placement at the
London Evening Standard as a sub-editor until February 2016.
I studied for my undergraduate degree at Cardiff University,
where I was the editor of the student magazine, Quench, and
later the student newspaper, Gair Rhydd. As part of my student
media career, I won a number of national awards for writing on
subjects such as youth homelessness and mental health issues.
After I left, I completed a postgraduate diploma in print journalism at the University of Sheffield, and completed the NCTJ
diploma as part of my course.
I am confident on working on a story from pitch to publication, and have bylines with national newspapers and websites
such as The Telegraph and The Spectator.
I have a good work ethic and attitude to match. I deliver clean
copy on time and hold myself to a high standard, and, perhaps
most importantly, Im happy to make the tea any time.
