United Phosphorous Limited, India’s largest Crop Protection Company
ADVT.,

successfully launched “Ulala” – a systemic insecticide with translaminar
action for controlling the sucking pests. UPL has collaborated with a
Japanese company Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha Ltd (ISK), for this insecticide
and also other new researched products. The field trials for Ulala have
been conducted on cotton and paddy fields for its effectiveness.
Ulala can be sprayed at 60-80 gm/acre for effective control of Aphids,
Jassids and Whiteflies in cotton and BPH, WBPH & GLH in Paddy fields.
Ulala is available in the packs of 30gm, 60 gm and 150 gm.
Among pests, insects are the worst enemies that a farmer has to battle,
while harvesting his bounty.
There have been numerous instances in the past when crops have been
ravaged by the invasion of an army of insects. Indians farmers have been
always looking for a potent insecticide that not only protects their crops
from the onslaught of destructive pests, but also protects the
environment. “Farmers battle hard for protecting their crops but by using
Ulala, their crops will be saved from destructive pests and will ensure
good productivity,” said Mr Bhupen Dubey, Business Head IB, United
Phosphorus Limited (UPL) Ulala is beneficial as it saves farmer’s time and
money by providing long duration control (15-20 days), which translates
into less number of sprays.
Ulala also provides phytotonic effect on the crop. Ulala breaks existing
resistance caused by Neonicotinoids (imidacloprid), Organophosphate
