International project Critical Thinking:

emergency materials for understanding the
World
(please share)
Dear colleagues and friends,
The Faculty of Economics and Management and the International Office of DonNTU
(Donetsk National Technical University) are launching the project Critical Thinking:
emergency materials for understanding the World and we are looking for
collaborators (professors, educators, journalists, economists, social activists,...).
The CT project tries to gather short lectures (25 minutes) that will be included in
DonNTU website. The CT lectures will constitute an open resource for our students
but also they will be useful for everybody interested in economics, geopolitics,
philosophy, social issues and international affairs. The lectures will be also included
on our facebook page and will be intensively disseminated using social media. The
lectures should be given preferably in English. But also will be accepted lectures in
French, Russian, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
The CT lectures can be recorded using your own computer or smart phone. The most
important for our project is the content of your contribution not the quality of the
image. All the lectures should start with an introduction of the speaker (name,
surname, where are you from, profession, academic affiliation). The speaker has to
include as well the following sentence: this is my contribution to the project
Critical Thinking promoted by Donetsk National Technical University.
There is another modality of contribution to the project, an on-line lecture via skype
to students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Donetsk National
Technical University. The lecture in this on-line modality will be recorded by our
team here in Donetsk. In you are interested in participating in an on-line lecture just
please contact us. The lecture should be given preferably on Wednesdays at any time
from 13.45 till 15.30 pm but we can look for another moment more suitable for you.
The speaker should be ready as well to answer some questions since our students will
attend the on-line lecture.
The project Critical Thinking is the first step towards the DISU 2017 (Donbass
International Summer University 2017) that will take place in Donetsk next
summertime. DISU is a project opened to professors, researchers, intellectuals,
journalists, social activists and students from around the World.
