Development through Cooperation Project
We discussed roles of public, private and civil society organizations in rural development during the Development Through Cooperation project which was a 7-days seminar on 14-20 May 2016 for 30 young people and youth workers from 9 different countries, both from Programme; Denmark, Romania, Italy, Slovakia and Turkey & Neighbourhood countries; Jordan, Ukraine, Bosnia- Herzegovina and Palestine under Key Action 1 (KA1): Learning Mobility of Individuals, Mobility of Youth Workers.
Co-operate for Rural Youth (CO.RU)
CO.RU project has applied to Erasmus+ KA2 - Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices in the field of Vocational Training. CO.RU project offers an ICT based cooperative entrepreneurship training module for rural youth. The objective of this training module is to promote youth participation to cooperatives and enable existing and potential young managers of agricultural cooperatives to identify and address major challenges that are specific to cooperatives in market oriented agricultural development. It is time for Cooperatives (imdi Kooperatif Zaman - KO-ZA)
KO.ZA project has applied to Ankara Development Agency, Social Responsibility Platform. KO-ZA project brings women and youngsters who are suffered from terror in Southeast of Turkey or low-income rural community in Central Anatolia Region. The objective of this project is to contribute social and economic integration of these two regions with 5-days cooperative trainings. Project is applied to TOG Foundation in Turkey. Project brings 5 universities student clubs to promote cooperative entrepreneurship. Participants are trained on setting up and manage Youth Cooperatives especially in economically disadvantaged regions. 25 university students are trained with the project.
Volunteer Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture (VISA)
Project is written for Erasmus+ KA1 as a Training Course but has not been applied yet. Project brings 28 youth participants from 7 program countries to exchange ideas and practices about cross-sectoral cooperation for rural development. Cooperatives are stressed in the program as a mechanism to foster social and economic inclusion in rural.
