To find dimensions of five sided pyramid, convert centimeters to feet and multiply by 100
Fiveclassicalelementsof ancientGreece areearth, fire,water, air,
and"thequintessence".
See:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aether_(classical_element)
TheGreek thinkerAristotle describedthefifth element, the"quintessence"or"aether",
in the same way we would describe outer space today. By extension this could be the void
of all elements, which is in itself an elemental state.
Gate to pyramid is on the quintessence side of pyramid.

Temple isvastlibrary, dedicated tothe Deity of Knowledge
Topof pyramid can be used as an observation deck or a place
where people can study in the open.
It can alsobe used asanopendiscussion form, whichtherulers
of thekingdom cannotshutdown.
The ruling elite can either chose to pay attention to what is
being debated on the open forum, and respond positively, or
act with repression, and incur the wrath of the Deity of
Knowledge.

Temple is designed to have open space, so it can store the
most books (see attachment 1).
The walls are thirty feet thick. Every level of floor space will
be set so as to preserve a thirty foot wall thickness. This is to
protect the knowledge resources inside.
The stairs to upper levels are in the center of the temple, the
most efficient location (see attachment 2).
Each floor of the temple are separated by fifteen foot floor
partitions.
There is a fifteen foot foundation layer built into the ground.
This is to help support the structure's weight.

FiveSidedPyramid ofInnerChamberDedicated

The staircases at each library floor is surrounded by a fifteen
foot thick wall, which helps support the structure's weight.
There is an underground room, which can be used along with
the first floor to store objects of leaning and knowledge that
are not necessarily books.
An example of this would be a giant stele that has historical,
scientific, or literary value.
The object is to fill the underground room first, even expand it
if needed, and use first floor if the knowledge object is too
large.
The first floor entrance is twenty feet high.

The temple is always open. It is always manned by a temple
guard.
The temple guard's function is to prevent people from stealing
the knowledge resources and prevent people from disturbing the
sanctity of the temple (being disruptive of people studying).
If need be, they fight against any effort by the ruling elite to
seize it. The head priest can select the king's best soldiers to
become part of the temple guard.
The priests of the Temple of the Deity of Knowledge, librarians,
always man the temple, and work on a rotational basis.

FiveSidedPyramid ofInnerChamberDedicated

Their floor is on the third floor, at the center of the floor. This
is the most efficient location.
The opening at the top is protected by a roofed enclosure that
also acts as an open air podium (see attachment 3).
The backside of this podium structure serves as the stairway to
the lower floors.
Air circulation in the temple is accomplished between the
temple entrance top, the central stairway system, and the
entrance at the first floor.

There is no need for art in this temple, as the Deity of
Knowledge does not care about subjectivity ('personal tastes').
The Deity of Knowledge only cares about art if it can be
translated into empirical knowledge.
There can be no self portraits shown in the Temple of the Deity
of Knowledge, not even kings and queens.
People, to include rulers, can only be depicted artistically in
the Temple if they are performing an act that contributes to
the knowledge base of the kingdom.
Historical scenes can be painted depicting leaders performing a
historical act.

FiveSidedPyramid ofInnerChamberDedicated
totheFiveClassicalElements
Most of the art in the Temple of the Deity of Knowledge will depict
scientific processes, formulas, historical events, technology, etc.
A work of art can be depicted that proves a scientific discovery or
historical process (or even event) as wrong.
However, the art sample being proven "wrong" cannot be destroyed,
and the art sample that "corrects" the art sample that is wrong must
make reference to the art sample it is correcting, -by location.
Thenthe "update"must praise the Deity of Knowledge and the 'wrong'
person, event, or historical process for being the first to consider the
issue brought up in the 'correct' art sample.
Allproposed artto beapprovedbyTemplePriests.

FiveSidedPyramidDefense System
Due to thesensitivity of the knowledge ofsome of the
materialskept intheTemple, andthethreatthat some rulers
mayfeelfrompeople with thisknowledge,it will benecessary
tocreate aprotection system for theTemple.
It will be built in an area where there is plenty of ground water
(perhaps even coming from the lower floor of the Temple).
The temple will be placed avastlabyrinth ofwalls.
The walls will bethirtyfeet thick, thirtyfeethigh, with
separating pathwaysthat arefortyfeetwide. The building
blocks will be granite.

To safeguard against stealing of emergency supplies, and check

Inspiration
I did not follow the assignment exactly. I made up a past civilization
that was discovered by a modern one.
However, my inspiration was based on a potentially real circumstance.
An alleged five sided pyramid was discovered on Mars, but NASA
maintains it is just a natural formation. Perhaps this is a real life
Temple of Knowledge waiting to be discovered by future travelers
to Mars.
