Once you have installed the TracWiz application on your computer. For specific information about the installation and use of a Trac instrument. For further information regarding PD theory contact Iris Power Engineering. though a basic understanding of the Microsoft® Windows environment is assumed. For partial discharge viewing and report generation capabilities. TracWiz is the configuration software for these Iris Trac instruments operating in either remotely controlled or autonomous mode. You do not have to be an expert to produce quality configuration reports using TracWiz. 1 PDView2 is a product of Iris Power Engineering Inc. This software package complements and enhances Iris Power Engineering’s HydroTrac™ and BusTrac™ systems in their ability to continuously monitor partial discharge (PD) in motors and generators. Overview Welcome to the TracWiz User Manual. you need PDView2™1. for further information regarding Microsoft® Windows refer to the Microsoft® Windows User’s Guide. For further information on this. A companion software package: TracLink™ enables you to download archived data from the Trac instruments. refer to the appropriate Installation Guide or User’s Manual. Dialog Boxes A dialog box is a window in which you specify one or more options.2 List Box A list box shows a group of available choices. quotes are used around the name. In this manual.
