Schedule of Rates for Electric Service
Effective 9-1-2005
RESIDENTIAL SERVICE
Availability:
Available in the City of Glencoe to any residential
customer in a single residence for domestic
purposes only.
Rate:
Customer Charge - $9.00 per month
All KWH @ 6.43
Monthly Minimum Charge:
$9.00

AREA OR SECURITY LIGHTING


Availability:
Available for year around illumination for area and
security lighting by electric lamps in luminaries
supported on wood poles, where the facilities for this
service are furnished for this service are furnished by
the Municipal Utility. (Availability to be determined
by Utility.)
Rate:
175 Watt - $9.00 per month
400 Watt - $11.00 per month

LARGE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE


Availability:
Available to any customer for general service whose
demand exceeds 500 KVA.
Kind of Service:
Alternating Current at the following nominal voltages:
(a) Secondary Voltage: Three phase at 120/208
volts or higher. (b) Primary Distribution Voltage:
Three phase at 2400/4160 volts or higher.
Service voltage available in any given case is
dependent upon voltage and capacity or Company lines
in vicinity of customers premises.
Rate:
Demand Charge for Service at Secondary Voltage:
All kilovolt-amperes of demand at $3.70 per KVA per
month.
Demand Charge for Service at Primary Voltage:
The Demand Charge for service at Secondary, less
$.20 per kilovolt-ampere of demand.
Plus an Energy Charge of:
All KWH at 4.46 per KWH

COMMERCIAL SERVICE
Availability:
Available in the City of Glencoe to any NonResidential customer for combined lighting, power
service, and electric heat supplied through one meter,
with maximum demands of less than 500 KVA.
Rate:
Customer Charge - $9.20 per month
First 20,000 KWH @ 7.39
Excess KWH @ 6.32
Monthly Minimum Charge:
$9.20

Policy:
(Transformer Rental Charge on Installed KVA) 24
KVA per month rental charge on installed KVA.
DETERMINATION OF DEMAND
The demand in kilovolt-amperes for billing
purposes shall be determined by dividing the
maximum demand in kilowatts by the monthly
average power factor and shall be rounded to the
nearest whole KVA, but in no month shall the
demand to be billed be considered as less than 50%
of the greatest demand in KVA billed during the
preceding eleven months nor in any event less than
100 KVA.

POWER ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE


There shall be added to the net monthly bill $.0001 (one-tenth of one mill) per kilowatt-hour for each whole $.0001 by which the
average net cost of fuel, purchased power, and generator maintenance in combination exceeds 28.0 mills per net kilowatt-hour
generated and/or purchased.
In the event purchased power is utilized in lieu of self generation or in combination therewith, the cost of fuel, purchased power,
and generating equipment maintenance shall be added together to arrive at total cost of fuel and purchased power in combination
each month, and this combined cost shall be then divided by the net kilowatt hours sold. The resultant adjustment, if any, shall be
applicable to the current monthly bill.
